Can I sue a Comunity College for not giving me credit when I earned and paid for it? -
I have paid for the class, have had perfect attendance, and am going to pass the class, but I may not get credit because the community college has removed me for quot;not attending classquot;. The instructor has filled out the form to correct the mistake, but the people in the office are giving me a lot of grief over putting me back into the class. So back to my question... If they don t refund the money for that class, or if they don t give me credit for the class after I earned it, can I sue?|::::|Sure you can sue. If you have a decent plan you could win.|::::|I wouldn t sue. Just be VERY persistent about getting it fixed. Also, ask them where they got the attendance record of you not being there, since the teacher says you have been. If you have a common name, they could be mistaking you with someone else who hasn t been attending their class.|::::|if you get an A or a B and you can prove you attended every day then you can sue if they fail you. |::::|Sue to your hearts content. The problem should get fixed before it becomes a big deal.|::::|maybe the college did not thank you earned it. a college is like the lotto when you pay for it and dont win you dont get credit.|::::|I would be a nonsence. I would call them everyday. File a compliant, go higher up, talk to a dean. Write letters etc. Get on their nerves!!|::::|yes you can because you paid and your bill /or fund is alowing it because of profits |::::|It s highly unlikely that you will lose the credit - work it out with the school.|::::|Goodness gracious, relax just a little. The semester is not even over. I really doubt anyone in the records department has a vendetta out for you. You know that you are in the right and have plenty of time to get this straightened out. Situations like this are ways that you are tested in areas where things don t go your way even though you know you are in the right. Jumping up and down and claiming a lawsuit is coming is not appropriate since you would have no standing until after the end of the semester anyway. |::::|yes you can sue, thats sounds pretty messed up. I hope everything works out for you|::::|See how you can file a complaint. Sounds like a mixup that no one wants to acknowledge. You WILL get your credit, don t worry. No, you can t sue. |::::|Yes.
