Can someone explain to me why the GWB administration .....? -

Will request and get money for any and nearly all people and governments but will allow our citizens to foreclose on their hard-earned property and to foot the bill. Right now, our country is in very hard economic times and our people are suffering, yet our politicians will bail out huge conglomerate companies and the people haven t been asked whether this is good or bad. Why is it when politicians get to Washington, DC, they do exactly opposite of what they have told their constituents they would do? Why do we put up with this kind of corruption?|::::|I am against bailing anyone out. Having said that, bailing out business and banks supposedly helps more people. They say so far the bailout has cost 7.7 trillion or roughly 25000 per citizen. My wife and I could have paid off our mortgage and had over 20,000 to stimulate the economy with. Even if yo went with the 750 billion we would have been able to stimulate the economy with our 2500 per citizen.|::::|Unfortunately the people who ultimately make these decisions are voted into office. They are given their jobs by the people of this country who pay their wages through taxation.... therefore, they are employed by the people of this country. These people are in an enviable position. They can spend other people s money to persuade the nation to employ them - in some cases more money than many citizens can imagine. And when they are done with that, and are successfully working in their jobs, they can write laws that harm their employers, and write their own pay checks. Regardless of the situations of their employers. It is that culture that is corrupt in itself. And, regardless of whatever political side or posturing that a person claims is better or worse, the entire situation is unlikely to change until the employers take back their power over the employed, compelling them to act in favor of the citizens of this country who pay their wages.|::::|I don t know...why? Answer your own question. If you voted either of the two quot;majorquot; parties...that is why. Marcus Tullius Cicero said it best: quot;All men err, only a fool persists in his errorquot;. Basically translated...the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. It starts with one person making a decision that they will not play into the quot;politics as usualquot; scenario and to actually take a stand and vote on CONSCIENCE. That means vote for a third party that closest espouses your views. There is one out there...trust me. |::::|People are being balied out. They are not having to pay their mortgages. They are being allowed to refinance at a lower payment and still don t bother to pay. No one forced them to buy a house they could not afford and why GWB or anyone else has to bail them out of their own irresponsibility is beyond me|::::|It is because once a government is in place in the U.S. it is nearly impossible to unseat it. The president, especially one in his last term of office, can do pretty much anything he wants to short of actual criminal behavior, and even that can be covered up long enough to finish a term.|::::|So the reason why the country is in the shape it s in is because of Nancy pelosi and Barny Frank... that s just fking genius! The president of the U.S. had absolutely nothing to with it in the past eight years, he s a victim! No wonder why we re so fked up as a nation, we re in denial.|::::|Thumbs up Sam and Dan. And I don t know, why do we? Career politicians, that s what the problem is.
