Thank You|::::|Smoke a bowl and don t eat anything. That should get your foot in the door.|::::|you may want to become a lawyer (to defend offenders or argue for legalization)or anything else practical. the only way to directly make money off of weed now is to deal. don t waste your money on any kind of degree in marijuana, im sure employers would not respect the university you got it from or the degree itself.|::::|Go to Mexico.

What should i do? Please help!!? -

Me and my boyfriend are moving to Canterbury in a couple of weeks time, we have known we are moving and have both tried to save. My job is different to his and i earn less money so my funds of saving were never going to be that high. Thing is, now it has come to the point where we declare to eachother how much we have saved and i have NOTHING!!! This is because of my travel to work, rent, bills ect, it all adds up....i dont spend alot but i bought him an ipod touch for xmas because i thought if we re going to be skint in January he might aswell have a nice xmas present! so i splashed out there and i know he s annoyed with me, i know ive done wrong, but now i need cash and quickly.....im willing to sell clothes and jewllery so we can move.....any ideas or tips on what to do???|::::|If you have not given him the phone yet, you should return it, and get your money back. You could also have a moving sale, sell everything that you don t need...If you have any nice jewelry that you are willing to part with try selling it to a pawn shop. Pawn shops will also buy other things, if you have a gaming system (playstation, etc) they will buy that, and you can sell that games too. Just get rid of everything that you can, let him know you are serious about this! Most importantly though you need to return the phone...its not going to do you any good, when he decides to leave you because he thinks you are not responsible.|::::|That was a bit thoughtless and irresponsible wasn t it? I bet he s now wondering how the hell he s gonna trust you to live together when you re so unstable with your money like that :S You re gonna have to do a carboot or something, I would say Ebay but it s not very good if you wanna make lots of cash. I don t know what to suggest.|::::|money is hard to come across lately how about joining up to ebay. or doing a car boot sale, asking at work for extra hours, baby sitting, dog walking, mayby returning the present at your partners agreement?|::::|TELL HIM THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MONEY, TAKE BACK THAT IPOD AND USE THAT AS MONEY TO MOVE WITH IF ALL ELSE FELLS GET A LOAN FROM SOMEWHERE|::::|yeppp EBAYYY!! lol hmmm maybe you could return the ipod? if you have the reciept?? or if you re REALLY desperate you d have to go to a pawnbrokers. x U|::::|sell a kidney. What can you use scholarship money for? -

Does it have to be used specifically for college? (I mean scholarship money that is for general use, not a scholarship to a specific college.) Could you use scholarship money for a summer program where you earn college credit?|::::|When it comes to scholarship or financial aid questions, I point my friends to check out http://www.FinancialAidQuick.com and take a look around. Its great starting point with a few good sources of info.|::::|I won t tell u what do u have to do with ur scholarship because ur free but i ll tell u my opinion For me I would use my scholarship for anything that can make me better in this world like college, ... but not for unimportant things for my life.

How do I Stop feeling like This? Is this Extremely Abnormal? -

I have always been a considerate person, but lately it has been extreme. I cannot buy or use nice things because I feel so guilty. Like if I am invited to a nice restaurant I feel sick thinking about all the poor people who are dying of starvation. Or I recently tried to go shopping for a dress for a special occasion. I just could not get myself to buy a dress at all because of my guilt. I get very very angry and depressed when I hear of people buying 300 dollar purses or shirts, etc. I do not earn much money (i am in college), but I do give what I can to organizations that fight hunger, I have several sponsored children, and I volunteer at the homeless shelter. I do my part to help, but I still feel like this. It s good to be considerate, but I feel like it is taking over my own life. How do I learn to enjoy my own life when the world is so horrible??|::::|You are living with a negative attitude and are overly affected by poverty. Try to focus on the positive. There will always be poverty in the world and realize that you are doing your part to help, but do not feel like a victim. Be happy that you are not living in poverty. Just remember that heaven is waiting for those who suffer here on earth while praising Jesus as their savior.|::::|I think its so awesome that you want to do what you can to help. Yah they way you described it tho, it does sound like something may be wrong. It could be a phycological thing...or even obsessive? A little bit. You could be feeling it stronger lately because of the crashing economy, and worrying about other people. It sounds like you just need to balance helping others and taking care of your own needs a little better. And hopefully a little healthier, you shouldn t feel constant guilt.|::::|Ya think to much about things, lol. Let people do nice things for you and help you out. Just as long as you considerate and say TY which you don t have a problem with don t worry about it. If you refuse to much people will start to think your ungrateful or might get offended. So just go with the flow baby ;)|::::|Well think of pampering yourself. Don t put the whole world of problems on your shoulder. You ve done all you can. You can t blame yourself for being a person with enough money to pamper yourself. It s not fair to you. So love yourself before others.|::::|You are depressed. How do I know? Because you sound like my friend. You will have to eat mood-boosting foods like chocolate, fruits and veggies. Please help, people hate me and won t answer!! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...|::::|Not really an answer, but recent studies have shown that generosity might in fact be genetically determined. Is the rest of your family like this too? (see source)|::::|you must keep yourself calm and give yourself much needed breaks from charity in order to spoil yourself, by doing this you will keep yourself high spirited and energized so you wont burn out from helping out so much. Everyone needs a break|::::|I think it s great that you re involved in all those organizations. I am all for that. But sometimes you need to do things for you. Not saying to go buy a 300 dollar purse. I personally would never do that. I don t know why people do. I think you can find much better things that are cheaper anyways. But buying yourself a cute dress for a special occasion. That s perfectly okay. You need to do things for yourself sometimes. That s really all that I can say. I can t tell you why. That s just what I know. Keep telling yourself that amp; maybe it will happen.

Im graduating highschool early and dont know what to do next year? -

So I just started homeschooling this year and with the extra time finished the two classes that I would have to take as a senior next year. I don t want to head straight into college next year as I don t have the money and also want to do some things before I have to commit to more school. I want to go into Sustainable Agriculture and so was thinking of a farm internship but thought it might be unlikely for someone to hire a 17 yr. old girl with no farm experience! I also love outdoor stuff, especially water and snow skiing, so was thinking I could work at a camp or ski resort. The problem is I live in Iowa but does anyone know of something I could do to earn money but also gain experience and knowledge in the things I like doing? Any suggestion would be very appreciated!|::::|You are very smart, you pretty much outlined the solution in your question itself! My youngest sister home-schooled for a little also. Hmmm, an amazing job where you can work outdoors, water ski... work in the snow... I remember camp wawona was an amazing place at Yosemite National Park http://www.campwawona.org/ They have applications for staff here: http://www.campwawona.org/camp_staff.htm... I believe they pay room and board so that would make it easier (two less things to worry about).|::::|You will have a difficult time finding paid employment now that the unemployment rate is so high. Look for some internships instead./

What is the best way to quit my job? -

I am currently living pay check to pay check all my money goes to my expenses. I want to quit my job because I hate my boss and I know I can earn more if I can find the right job. My problem is how do I go on interviews without my boss noticing what I am doing he is always on me like a hawk. I cant afford to get fired but I cant afford to stay at this job a day longer because I want to hit my boss for always micro managing me and being a scum bag.|::::|I know it may be hard right now but please do not quit your job unless you have another one lined up. I know that you mentioned you are living paycheck to paycheck but something is better than nothing at all and just imagine what you would do if you didn t have the little income you have now. It is smart that you are wanting to place yourself in a new and better environment professionally, goo for you. I would like to advise you to get your resume and polish it up, adding your current employer and all of the skilled accomplishments you ve contributed to that job. You sound like a smart person that is on the edge of letting your boss have it (I know what that feels like) but just let it go for now b/c you are on a mission to find a new employer. You are worth it. Happy Holiday s|::::|Don t just Quit! Develop a plan and quit complaining about your current boss.I If not, Can you transfer to a different department? Update your address book so that you can keep in contact with those people you want to keep in contact with. Find out about unemployment. Do you qualify for any type of assistance to get training. Get out and exercise. Do some volunteer work. Take time out of your day and pray for what you want, Pray for others the same things you want for yourself. It works and you don t have nothing to lose. Good luck.|::::|Do what you have to to secure your next job before you quit this one. It is always easier to go from a job to a job than it is to go from jobless and paycheckless to a job.|::::|could you put on your resume that you need to phone interview first, or tell them when the employeer calls you, then if it seems like a good thing, interview during your lunch break, or come in early so you can leave early one day|::::|If ur family has a good financial background, u can quit just like that. But if u happen to be the breadwinner of the family, u will have to act cautiously. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Best of luck.|::::|Do ya have any sick time? if so take a few sick days to apply for a new job. Good luck. I hated my job so bad my BP was 170/112 I am much happier now ;)

How would you feel i you a woman worked and your quot;manquot; didnt but got 650.00 a month to sit at home? -

i work pt/but at ft hrs and bring home more than my guy.weve had a lot of fights about money and that he gives all his money to rent but doesnt have a dime to his name after he gives it all to rent.he gets $650 rent is $774 i pay the diff. i also pay all the other bills like elec.121.00,cable/inter.131.00,gas80.00,... why should i give him any money at all if its my hard earned money.he does have a dissabilty bipolar but i earned it.his parents think i should give him money to.like split the extra cash 50/50 which is like 220.00 each month.what do all you girls/guys think?im kinda fed up.|::::|His disability is very valid but it doesn t mean he can t work. My fiance and I are both bipolar and we both work part-time 24-30 hours per week. Your boyfriend needs proper treatment that will allow him to work but in the meantime if you love him and you live together you need to support the household so you don t lose your house. He shouldn t be paying all of the rent if you live together rent should be split down the middle.|::::|That would annoy me! Just the fact that he has no money so you two can never do anything. Is he your husband or boyfriend? His parents need to mind their business. Money is not everything. but it can cause a great deal of stress when there is not enough. You have to decide if he is worth this.I would leave him, but that s just me.|::::|are you married to this man? I think his parents need to mind their own business. There s so much more to life.|::::|i belive in that man should be responsible and lady help him not oposite.may be in ur case the oposite but at least he shouldnt fight with u for money coz from the begining u take his responsibility and u spend more than him for ur life|::::|if you really love him why does it matter who pays what. why don t you just put all your money together in the same account. that why no saying who pays what.|::::|i would want my guy to be a provider. but you have to work our what you want. did you know he had this condition before you moved in with him... i suggest being kind towards him|::::|doesnt matter if you are a man or woman..remember all those years women fought for equality? if you really love him..money shouldnt play a role in it.|::::|If you loved him you would travel to the end of the earth and back again for him... All my best (: E-mail me if you want to know anything else (:|::::|I think you shouldn t let a little math get in the way of love.|::::|you are a good girl, good luck. my deep sympathies 4 you....|::::|Hell, no. I don t care how he gets it. He needs to pay some bills since he spends most of his time at home. Is he at least keeping it clean and nice looking. I know people with disabilities that still work and pay bills. If money is the problem, why don t you two add it all up and divide it by two. After that, whatever he has left he use for himself and learn how to budget his money not use yours. You earn it, not him.|::::|honestly?? i think that most people are diagnosed with mental disabilities all the time but they are a load of cr*p. so the mere fact that he is getting disability from it shows that he is part of the scam. he wants to be a lazy bum and get paid for it. i think u need to stop supporting him immediately. he isnt going to work unless he is forced to. he sounds like a very pathetic man...and i no ppl with quot;bi polarquot; disorder who can function in everyday life...hes not retarded, therefore he can get a job. i dont believe ppl should be able to collect on this bogus sh*t. its so frustrating to me...and we wonder why r economy is sh*ttin the bed. bc we are dishin out money to ppl like him. i would leave him if i were u and find a real man who wants to be an active contributor to ur household...like real men usually do. and to be very honest...if u even consider giving him $220/month to spend u will be extremely naive, gullible and out of this world crazy. good luck with that.|::::|I wouldn t split what you earn 50/50 because that s your money. But If you pay just what you have mentioned here then you pay $451 each month and he s paying $650 which means you are paying $200 less which means you should give him $100 each month. Or you can look at it this way: your bills amount to $774 + elec.121.00,cable/inter.131.00,gas80.00 which add up to $1106 total. If you split that by half: $553 each. So if he pays that, he s left with $97 of his hown money AND he s still paying you half of your gas which should be your own expense because you spend it to earn your money so it s yours to spend and NOT his. So he d be entitled to another $40. Having said all this, I bet you are also paying for his food? So the equation doesn t exactly work out, however if he cooks it and washes up afterwards then it evens out. Just try to be fair. An advice would be to get rid of cable/net for something cheaper, I pay $75 so wise up, you can do it too.|::::|are you married, dating? 18 or 42? personally (and i am a behavioral health professional) i think most people with bipolar disorder, provided they are receviing adequate treatment, should be able to hold down at least a parttime job, howveer, this would mean no more disability check. however, if he is truly unable to work, and the money is such a topic of contention, perhaps you two hould reevaluate your lifestyle and find a place to live that costs less, cut out the unnecessaries, such as cable, so that you both can contribute and have your own money left over

What can i do to earn money? -

Im 13 and i just need to get a little extra cash. i know i cant get a real job or anything.. and i cant babysit becuase i have no one to babysit .... any ideas?|::::|When I was your age, I went to neighbors and offered to baby sit, wash dishes, floors and windows, run the vacuum, grocery shop, laundry and folding or do other errands. My brother mowed and edged lawns. Both of us pulled weeds. I took the neighbors kids to the library. That was many years ago and I know that such freedom to move around town is not as common today. However, there was an old phrase back then and it is still as good as it was then, quot;To make Money, find a need and fill it.quot; Are there any elderly ladies in your neighborhood? They might appreciate some help. Look around! And I always say that phrase from the Bible, quot;God supplies everything I need.quot; So I ask for His help! I wish you well.|::::|Make Money with A Digital Camera Do you like photography? -------------------------------------- Perhaps you already have a digital camera at home sitting there gathering dust. Well did you know that you can make money by selling stock photographs online. There are several free websites that you can register on and upload your quality photos with the aim of selling them. The sites are used by publishers, advertising agencies, graphic artists and more to fulfill the requirement of their assignments. The site will normally offer your photo at fixed prices with you and the website taking a cut of the profits. The fixed prices of your photos sale are normally set by the stock photo site. The great thing about this is that you can make extra money online and you don’t need anything apart from a digital camera and a computer. Selling the photos royalty free means that your buyer pays a one off fee and is allowed to use your photo as many times as they desire. It also allows you to sell the same photo over and over again to different buyers to maximize your income. There is also the option of selling an exclusive photo to only one stock photo website. This would mean you cannot sell the image anywhere else. This could command higher prices but also is likely to mean less sales. One thing to be aware of is that it is not just a case of uploading your holiday pictures. You need to ensure that you are taking photographs that match the requirements for companies seeking stock photos. Your photos should explicitly capture a particular item or keyword easily identified by the viewer. An marketable, artistic photograph of a bowl of fruit for example or apple may be in demand by magazines who are writing an article about food. The photos that you upload to the sites are also normally reviewed first to ensure they are at the required quality for sale. The photos should be in focus, sharp, free from dust or noise. There is a requirement for photos with high resolution normally above 2 mega pixel and sometimes above 4 mega pixels for new photographers. You don’t need to spend a fortune however to take photos of this quality. There are also other photo sites where you can register and sell any type of photo. These aren’t necessarily stock photos and usually allow you to actually set your own prices. An example of this is vizero.com allowing you to upload your photos and set your own prices. There are several sites out there for stock photographers looking to make extra money online. I am listing the main websites below. Some of the Best Stock Photo Sites can be found by reading more here: http://millionaireblog.co.uk/2008/05/22/...|::::|you could sell stuff on ebay or do what you love and sell those.......or you could ask your school counselor if she knows any government funded jobs that hires, although those usually start in the beginning of the school year, but its worth a shot

Do you realize the bailout is just more printed money, thus devaluing YOUR money? -

The printing presses won t be bailing out housing, banking, credit, auto..YOU will? All your savings, assets, are being given to these people who ride in corporate jets and have swanky parties, and so politicians can grab credit and votes for YOUR income redistribution to people who can t pay their mortgages, credit card debts, or bad business practices. What can you do to protect what you ve earned? |::::|Some people are aware of this grand theft. My fear is that most people concentrate their anger on that single mom who gets welfare so her kid can have some apple juice. What can you do to protect what you ve earned? Get out of the equity market. That s a rigged casino. Also get out of US dollar denominated assets. If the greenback wasn t the global reserve currency it would be toast already.|::::|Its more than that even. I m concerned we are throwing good money after bad. And I m not convinced that we should be bailing out automakers when they have a surplus of 1 mill cars they don t sell every year. Seems to me that they need to control production better. Now, these companies are claiming that the money will be paid back with interest by 2012, but I think it would be wiser to let them fail, invest that money in repairing and rebuilding our infrastructures, and create jobs that way. God knows America has enough cars already.|::::|You don t understand the basic principles of macroeconomics. The problem in a recession is that we aren t spending enough money to to buy the goods and services the economy is capable of producing. We must therefore find a means to generate more demand, and that, essentially, means printing more money. In a recessionary situation, that will not cause too much inflation: rather, it will help prevent the far more serious deflation.|::::|you are perfectly correct.I have been told the dollar is only worth 2cents in the dollar. The UK pound 3pence in the pound. No wonder our economies are in such a mess. You think your money is safe in any bank, dream on.The UK government has not got the money to bail out the UK economy.2009 is going to be hell.|::::|Yes, I do realize this. How to become a high paid lawyer? -

How to earn 7 figures as a lawyer. I have heard that being a lawyer is overrated because many quot;lawyersquot; make basically no money.|::::|Lawyers are a dime a dozen. Good lawyers are worth their weight in gold! There is a glut of Attorneys, with some taking jobs outside of law to get by. You ve heard of puppy mills? There are tons of quot;law schoolsquot; that operate the same way. Stay away from the Acme School of Law for example. Law School online -- get serious. If you want to become a high paid lawyer, first attend a reputable law school, have decent grades, seek a highly respected mentor while you are in law school. If you sole reason for attending law school is to make a ton of money - YOU WON T! To make the big bucks you ve got to love what you are doing, with a passion! One of the biggest mistakes young people make when addressing career choices, is focusing first on $$$$! I am retired, and I have truly been there. When I retired I was the CEO of a Fortune 500 Firm, having been COO and CFO of a couple of other firms. My Compensation at retirement was esily in the eight figures, and didn t include money made from sitting on Boards of Directors, speechmaking, consulting , etc. Corporations pay the people that make up their Boards. Example: I sit on the board of one company that requires that I attend one monthly meeting, and their annual meeting. For this I receive more than a quarter of a mil per year. The world does not hold out a brass ring that you simply grab ahold of; never, ever forget that money follows performance. If you work your butt off, and become among the very best at what you do, there are tremendous rewards. The WRONG approach is to sit back in high school or college and focus on, quot;what career will make me really richquot;. By your standards I am indeed loaded. I am rich alright I have a family I adore and that adore me, lots of loyal friends, live comfortably. I don t get off on $$$quot;, my quot;highquot; is rolling on the floor with my grand kids!|::::|THERE s aint no tuition for having no ambition....and aint no loan for sitting ya A$$ at home..... listen...if u joining law for the money.......dont join it.... it doesnt work that way....u have to develop a passion for it....im a lawyer...and I make almost a qrt mill as a partner at Jones Day... So can you tell me what i can say so that way i will earn more money!? i was thinking of saying if your not satisfied you do not have to pay me at all! what else can i do!|::::|Yeah. They get money, I get a nice driveway. It s a win-win. Five bucks is a good price.|::::|$5.00 isn t much! I would tell them to give you what they think you earned! A lot of people will definitely pay MUCH more than you re asking for, especially if it s A LOT of snow! P.S. I would pay you 15 dollars. And I have two teenagers at home who probably won t do it.|::::|yea i would pay a kid to do that.

Lg dare or blackberry storm? -

i m 13 and i use internet and e-mail, i text A LOT, and i m paying for them w/ my own hard earned money. so what do u guys think would be the best one to get.|::::|Well considering that you are thirteen. I would go with the dare! Here are my reasons on that: 1. You are paying with it, with your own money and the monthly plan isnt that much. Plus it s stylish, small, and has an easy use. 2. The blackberry storm is 89.99 dollars a month and thats quite expensive. But I would just do whatever you like I am 14 myself and I am getting the blackberry storm. I have read reviews and watched everything about it and I have even messed with it non-stop and I like it. But the dare I would say is the same its just, my sister is getting that phone and I hate when people have the same phone as me. But do whatever you Like for you I would go with the dare its cheaper easier to use and just seems right for a 13 yr old Oh yeah and to that guy who s dad got the blackberry storm that is your dad, that doesnt mean that somebody else wont like it, or will take it back. Becuase I have tended to find out kids know how to use phones better than adults, they just dont have the time to figure it out. So... I wouldnt advise that to somebody.|::::|My dad got the BlackBerry Storm two weeks ago and he s already returning it. Get the Dare, my friend has it and she likes it a lot.|::::|The dare hands down!

How much does skiing equipment cost? -

Can you rent it? If so, how much is it usually? I m going on a skiing trip with my friend in late January and my family is low on money, so I m trying to earn the money to make it work. Also, what other gear do I need (hats, gloves, etc)? I m not sure where we re going for it.|::::|Unfortunately, for the beginner skier, a ski trip of any length will cost you about $75-$100 a day for tickets and rentals. Try to pre-buy the tickets. Multiple day tickets purchased at the same time generally are cheaper and off-resort rentals are sometimes $10-$15 less than the resort rental shop. Find out where you are going and try to get the ticket prices off the website. Gore-Tex gloves and pants are expensive. You can get several pairs of less expensive fleece gloves and swap out gloves if yours get soaked. Put Sno-Seal (beeswax) on some leather gloves and that will work too. Carhartt also makes a leather, waterproof glove that is a lot cheaper than a high-end Gore-Tex skiing glove. Mittens are always warmer than gloves. Water resistant ski pants can be gotten for under $60 and you can pick up some decent ski socks at backcountry.com. A lot of styles are 50% off.|::::|Yes you can rent most of your equipment at the ski area. This is boots, skis amp;bindings, and poles. Also a helmet is advised. As to what else you need, it depends on where you are going and what the temperature is. An outdoor coat that is water repellent, also pants, and some long johns. A pair of ski socks and your foot are all that should go in your ski boot. Gore tex gloves and a hat that covers your ears and a set of goggles that will protect your eyes. For a one week trip I would budget $1000, and hope it would cover my costs. Also take a series of lessons from a qualified professional instructor. Many areas have a special 3 day package of skis, lessons and lift tickets for less than $200. Work coveralls and heavy jacket will not be comfortable for a long day. A week long rental of the gear may run $200, The rest of the budget should allow for lift tickets at $50/ day, food at the area is also expensive.

Looking to find work anywhere in the world? -

Hi all, im an electrician from ireland, at the moment there is no work here and im looking to move abroad, i originally i wanted to move to canada but i got a few replies that there isnt much work there, Anybody got any sound advice on where to go and how much money could be earned Thanks in advance|::::|I m not very smart, but seems to me that someone looking to move to a foreign country, where they have to meet the standards and qualifications of a different system, or language, would have the ability to search these answers in better places than on YA! There are electrician jobs all around the world, you skills are in high demand. But, like most jobs, they often require good references, and training. In the USA, there is a system for becoming a Journeyman, then a Master in the Trades, I presume it s the same in Ireland. You should ask your local union about their connections with Electrical Workers Unions in other countries. This way, you could also get more support, advice, and references, BEFORE the move. Why should anyone hire you, over someone else, born and trained in the quot;home countryquot;? Would you expect an American or Canadian Electrician to be hired in Ireland, over an Irishman of the same skills? I m suggesting you should have other reasons to move to a new country, other than just to work. For one thing, I ve heard the Irish economy is booming. Much more than the rest of the world, so it seems to me, are are already in a quot;worker s paradisequot;. Should I risk making a move now or do nothing and wait? -

I m a single guy in my late twenties and my last relationship lasted 3 months from April-June of this year. Since then have been going out more and I ve been on a few nice dates - nothing serious however I wasn t looking for a long-term partner so things have been good for me. Every week I go to the same nightclub and now know all the staff, some I regard as close friends. A couple of months ago a new girl worked in the bar part-time because although she had a FT job in an office she wanted to earn more money for saving to move abroad. She doesn t know if she ll live there permanently but she wants to go for half a year, maybe a year and see how it goes. We have a lot in common I think we re both interested in each other however can t be sure if she sees me as a nice friend because sometimes her body language suggests she is attracted to me and other times only friends! But I m being really cautious, we can t start a relationship now because we d have to break up in 3 weeks. If I made a move (e.g. hold hands, kiss or tell her how I feel) and she backed off then when she leaves then if and when she did come back home I don t think we d be close as we are now. If we were just good friends right now then why is it other friends are making occasional joke/comment about me liking her? And when she comes up to me in the club my friends smile and say quot;here she is!quot; - it s obvious to me and everyone else, so surely it s obvious to her, so should I take the risk and go one step further or just stay as I am and wait to see what happens in the future, even if it is 6-12 months away?|::::|I think that if you can t decide on it definitely, then you should make it clear that you want to keep contact with her, and maybe tell her how much you ll miss her when she s gone. She ll be coming back, so I think it s best to just stay close friends for now, and keep in touch, ask her how she s doing and what s going on in her life. Maybe just give her little hints here and there that you re definitely interested but you would like to take things slow. Hope this helps! You never know, the distance might make her realize how much she likes you (:

How can i become a paper boy? -

What is the best way to make your money work for you..complete novice? -

I am actually earning enough to save money now, so I am a complete novice. What is the best way to make my money work for me just like Rich Dad, Poor Dad said it should do.|::::|A good rule of thumb for investing and saving. Take your age and subtract it from 100. Up until you are 50 you will want to take the larger portion of the difference and put it into high risk/reward investments. Such as stocks mutual funds Vegas (just kidding). And the Smaller portion of the difference in low risk/reward investments. Government bonds (savings bonds) IRA s CD s etc. The point of this is that while you are young if your high risk investments happen to take a big shadoobie you still have time to bounce back. However when you are older your chances of recovering are not as great. so when i am 25 i would put 75% of my disposable income into high risk/reward investments and 25% into low risk/reward investments. When i am 75 I would put 25% of my disposable income into high risk/reward investments and 75% in low risk/reward investments. Make Sense? All the while you should be adding to your 401k. That is a great investment because you are guaranteed a 100% return. Now a good way to manage your CD s is to ladder them take a look on any investment site on how to do this it will allow you to have a continual source of income whether you roll your interest earned back into the cd or if you stash it in the shoebox under your bed! Hope I was a help. This is just a start, be creative, be smart, and live a long prosperous life. |::::|I would like to suggest to you that you make a mental distinction. With your question you may get answers as to quot;Whatquot; you should invest in. But more important you need to determine and understand the quot;Howquot; to invest. Starting out Dollar Cost Averaging works very well. Learn about asset allocation and re-balancing. That improves return as well. Diversify. Invest in mutual funds and index mutual funds for large diversification starting out with small sums. With taxed money, not tax deferred or pretax retirement money I suggest to have any dividends and capital gains a mutual fund pay be sent to you, to your checking account. This does two things IMO. It rewards you for saving. It establishes that relationship that says saving money makes you richer. It also pays you so if you keep saving it costs you less all the time because it is paying you more as you save more. So REWARD YOURSELF for saving. Then later as you learn and your portfolio grows you can take more risk and invest more aggressively with quot;somequot; of your money. Like with individual stocks. But if relatively young, as I suspect, you have a lifetime to learn and grow your money. Good Investing to ya. |::::|save your money ,don t buy thing,s on impulse ,if your trying to get a credit card (Visa, mastercard) save it for things you,ll need like car repairs and stuff like that ,don t by every thing on credit even though it might look easier to do because the credit can come back to bite you.|::::|Hi Pandoras, If you re looking to make your money work for you, here s something you absolutely would love! Do you think that religious people often the most hypocritical? -

I know I already asked this question but I have not gotten a lot of feedback. --------------------------------------... I am from Mexico and most people here are Catholic. I have unintentionally gotten into several arguments because I have voiced my opinion over religion, particularly Catholicism. I don t appreciate the fact that people give their hard-earned money to an establishment who claims to give the money gathered in collection plates to the poor but really doesn t. Being that the majority of Mexicans are Catholic and contribute to the church, why is there still a lot of poverty in my country? The priest in my church, for example, has a luxurious car. Not very humble. Please excuse my English.|::::|Hola Laura--tienes algo de activista que no? You know how deep those traditions are ingrained in the culture so I need not tell you how difficult it will be for you to challenge them. I commend you nonetheless for your courage to speak out against such abuses. Maybe you should write editorials in the local press or school papers? Necesitamos mas gente como tu--D|::::|That is what I have been thinking. Our pastor, here in Wisconsin, has a very nice car, nice house, his son, who s my age, has nice clothes, etc. [But his wife and son also have health conditions, but that has nothing to do with your question..] Yes. Most are. Most seem to ignore the fact that God does not want to have other s thinking they are better because they teach and believe they know more than other s. God wants his children to be humble, and many priests, Christian Teachers, missionaries, etc. may think that way for being head of a head and thinking they are closer with God. But that doesn t condition to every Christain/Teacher of God. There is also something called personality wise.. I won t get into that, since I don t want to be.. quot;rudequot; O_O|::::|People are people the world over. We seek wealth, power, position Prestige, privilege and you name it. Over the centuries people have come up with many ingenious ways of accomplishing that goal. The Church s stay big by discouraging birth control and keeping big families in their control. We already have a world population of about six and a half billion people. Only China is trying to control it.|::::|Yes, and the bible speaks more than people realize about this. 2 Peter 2 1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not 1 TITUS :15To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. You are forgetting the many Catholics who DO help the poor. They do exist whether you think so or not|::::|why is it, people who don t believe in religion can t get off the subject? please excuse my Mexican.|::::|Yes - you are correct|::::|You ask a difficult question is why you have not gotten a lot of feedback. In the broadest sense of the word quot;hypocritequot; almost everyone is one. Anyone that says one thing and does another is a hypocrite. The real problem is that Christians get the blame for it because they feel like it is a sin, and no one else does. As for your statement about giving and there are still a lot of poverty in the world, I could not agree more. I do not wish to speak badly about your Catholic faith, but as you have already noticed they are a very rich Church, yet their followers are often poor, just as it is in your country of Mexico. Some Religious groups are simply horrible about sharing the wealth with the impoverished. Some are much better than others. You have to take one at a time and investigate them. Any Christian group that truly uses their money wisely will be glad to send you information about how they spend it. As for your statement about so many religions in the world, and people give to them and there is still poverty, I would say this. Most religions do not spend the money on the underprivileged. It is only the Christ centered religions that believe in helping others out. Religious groups that are not Christ centered do not care for anyone but themselves. Yes, there are a lot of good Catholics in the world, and a lot of good Baptist, Methodists, Presbyterians, and a lot of others as well. The problem is there a lot of bad ones too, and they are the ones most of us see. We need to quit looking at people, and start looking at Jesus, he was not a hypocrite.

A unique enough look to model? -

Hiiyaa :) I m 5 6 and 112-114 pounds (my weight always differs throughout the week) And i m not asking this to fish for compliments or to boost confidence or to be told that i am really ugly . As a model myself (on a late lunch break) I see my co-workers, and I think quot;we all look the same.quot; You could probably do cover modeling, because they could digitally add in the height to yourself. But modeling was a hard choice for me. I signed a contract that I would not take off my clothes (which I recommend for you and anyone else). I didn t really want to model, but I needed the money for college, and I ran into a photographer who was looking for models that were cheap. I later quit because they were forcing me to take pills and not eat, and even though I weigh the same size as you, I love to pig out. Then I got into another industry where I took pills but I could eat as much as I want, but the limit of calories was about 2400, which I think is pretty high. But all the people I have found in the industry have come across as rude or creepy. My photographer at one photo shoot was horrid. She would say quot;I take pictures for beauty, not dogs. Now fix your posture, amateur.quot; All I m saying (this advice comes from a friend) is that don t let anyone get in your way. Don t take off clothes, stop eating, or anything to affect the real you. A job doesn t require completely changing yourself.

Which proffession has the most money? What would I have to do in order to be in that proffession? -

See,I want a lot of money when I become bigger.I am 14 now.Money makes you rich and powerfull. What would I have to do to earn it?which is the best occupation? THANKYOU.|::::|A good paying job, saving your money, and paying your tith to God. No matter what job you do in life you will not be happy or really successfull unless you trust God as your savior and pay yout tenth.|::::|Apparently, business is the highest money earning occupation. But the business people keep a very large proportion of their money as capital asset and they have little time for enjoyment. The best thing is not to think of money but to concentrate on your studies and decide when you grow up. The best job will be that which suits your skill, temperament, aptitude and interests. Good skill and hard work brings enough money in every field. You get recognition by your work and not by your money. Some people get a lot of money through lottery winning, gambling, smuggling, illegal activities, succession and marrying wealthy spouse but they get no importance.|::::|you shouldn t base your career on income. you will be rich but you will hate your job and be miserable. Instead you should pick a career that you enjoy, then it won t even feel like working... besides the key to becoming rich isn t a large salary but rather disciplined and consistent saving and investing. With that being said the career that pays the most on average is either a doctor or a lawyer.|::::|Best answer, if you are interested, is nursing. My daughter works for a nurse who is in charge of several departments at a large city hospital. Her boss makes about $200,000 per year, and does not have to work more than 40 to 50 hours every week. There are many options in the nursing field, including nurse anesthesiologist which is another area of high earnings. What you need to consider is whether you value your free time. People always suggest doctor, surgeon and attorney, but you need to think about how much free time you want each week. The secret to being happy is to achieve a balance between work and leisure activities. Good luck!|::::|Haha little buddy...let me tell you something...there are tons of people that look for money...it is VERY hard to become a surgeon..not just because of the education required but because of the COMPETITION..you will quickly learn that a lot of people want to become doctors...even the ones that don t have a chance in hell...my suggestion is pick a profession you like..most of them can pull $50 an hour eventually and thats not bad..thats like 100 grand a year + you enjoy what you do...be smart..think about more than money|::::|A litigator can charge up to $900 per hour, the bad ones only get a measly $200. You do the math...that s big money. But they burn out in 15-20 years because of stress. A translator can make huge money if they know lots of languages, but they also burn out easily from stress. a specialy surgeon can make $500,000 a year after 12-15 years of schooling and internships. owning a company or a business can make you millions.|::::|Uhh... you have some issues that you need to work on... But as for the answer: Neurosurgeons. They easily pull in $400,000 a year. However, you will need to go to medical school, and you will also need to spend extra time there from what I understand. You need to make pretty much all A s in school to get there, too, and somehow I doubt that you are doing this from your question.|::::|A specially in the medical field or an attorney. Attorneys these days charge from $450-550 per hour.|::::|Plastic surgery|::::|A surgeon

What is the most important thing for your life? -

My talent to earn money but money is not priority in my life. My job is my life.|::::|Pleasing God.|::::|Learning. Whenever I learn something, it triggers some kind of OCD that makes me want to learn more. More knowledge, more wisdom, more fact. Of course, no one can know everything, so I m basically fighting a lost cause. It could almost be seen as self-inflicted pain--yet it s all just so interesting, and curiosity seems to feel strongest when insatiable... And then I look up and see people I love, and I realize, screw learning, at least for now.|::::|Many things. I don t deem any one thing as quot;most importantquot;. And if there was it would be family. (At the current time). Lol. Best moment of my life: coming out and my father accepting it like any sane, loving parent would. :)|::::|Being diabetic Insulin is the most important thing to my life. It is my connection to this world and without it I would die.|::::|my baby brother every time i feel sad i hug him everyone else brings you down he doesn t have to say anything he just makes me happy.|::::|Breathing.|::::|My Sobriety and my Son.|::::|Videos games :P|::::|My religion and family. :)|::::|aquireing knowlege|::::|Beer and the possibility of more beer to come

Doesnamp;#39;t it seem a bit unfair that we arenamp;#39;t getting any relief, yet we are paying for it all? -

And when we do it is a measly $600? With the $700B they spent on Wall street they estimated that every single American could have gotten $2000. That would have been $10000 just for my family. We could have paid off our debts and had money to spare. We could have repaired our credit and had a fresh start. But no. All the rich corps get our hard earned money and I am sick of hearing about how it will help me in the long run. My husband has 2 jobs and I work at home plus take care f my kids and we still have no money and are living paycheck to paycheck. We receive no public assistance whatsoever. I don t know about you, but I could use some relief right now instead of the long run . If they can keep coming up with billions of dollars for companies, I say it is time for us to take a stand before we all starve to death and it is too late.|::::|Yeah, the whole system is pretty screwy. It is just another case of the rich discriminating against the poor. This has been going on for the longest time. You see, they don t give bailouts to your average guy on the street because they just don t trust him. They don t trust the lower economic classes. They d rather go with their faulty trickle down system. The thing is that it never really does trickle down. The incompetent financial corporations that received the money pretty much got that money with no strings attached. There was very little oversight as to how that money will be spent. Their business cronies in government hooked them up big time. You had better believe that those firms will be using that money for undeserved executive bonuses, corporate parties, corporate jets, new office buildings, expensive lunches, and all sorts of crooked things. They re going to have fun with the money before their business ultimately fails. They re going to live it up on our dime. Meanwhile, the average citizen who really needs the cash won t see a cent of it. The whole thing is a big racket. It is just history repeating all over again. Some people are wise to their game though. When you see government and business combining to rip citizens off again you just gotta say, quot;Who they tryin to hustle?quot; Yeah, if more people questioned authority then corporations would never be able to get away with this in the first place. The problem is that most citizens are too busy shopping and going to football games to even care about how their own government really works.|::::|I don t want quot;reliefquot;. I just don t want to pay for the poor business decisions made by others. Joshua, Barack Obama doesn t have a f##### clue how to quot;helpquot; people. He doesn t understand economics, and, like the neocon Republicans, he firmly believes in more government.|::::|All I have to say is f__k the government! Im so tired of their sh*t. F__k coporations and anyone else who doesnt give a rats @ss about us everyday Americans. Your right $600 isnt going to do sh*t, didnt they learn anything from the economic quot;stimulusquot; package from earlier this year???? F__K no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|::::|You are right, It is outrageous. We are protecting the same banks that screwed us over in the first place. We are protecting the same car companies that have resisted change for 30 years. I feel bad for the workers. I dont want to see the economy collapse. But when will there be justice!|::::|Hold on a bit longer. Obama wants to help regular people, but he can t do it until he s in office -- Bush and the Republicans have opposed most anything that doesn t benefit Wall Street and the mega rich.|::::|what part of privatizing profit and socializing debt is unfair?|::::|Considering that money was supposed to be helping the average working american in the first place, yes, i d say that was a little unfair.|::::|What will really flip your lid is when you realize that this is all intentional......keep seeking my friend....the answers are out there....|::::|Don t worry, it is all a big scam. It is all about the re-distribution of wealth. That is what government does; it takes from one and gives to another. The trick you need to learn is how to always try to be on the receiving end. Imagine this, the US is a lot like 3 wolves and a sheep voting on what s for dinner. Here is a hint. You are the sheep. It might help if you are in a protected class. The best to be is a Black Female if you can. Try to be one or the other if you can t be both.|::::|We, the working class, as far as the government and big Corporations are concerned are merely the rabble and we are not of their lofty social or economic level, certainly never equals in any shape or form. We are disposable in their view of greater matters of the world. Never think for one minute that the working class will receive more than lip service as the politicians and corporate CEO s would never waste time (real time) or $$ on us. If I sound cynical then you read me correctly, but cynical with good reason considering all the lies and corruption that steadily come to light day after day.|::::|Due to the high war deficits, The USD has been going lower against JPY, Yuan,NTD,and HKD. July 07 $1usd=127JPY, today 1usd=87JPY. The usd has been going higher against Euro, yet, it was predicted that it will start a downward spiral as soon as all the US banks finish withdrawing their investments in Europe for US dollars that they urgently need, and that process just started on last Friday, for the first time in 9 month, USD started going south against Euro, today 1USD=0.69EUR. Since 2004, when the amount of the government bond issuance reached an annual average of $400 billion, 94% of US government bonds have been purchased by China and Japan.quot; There is no wonder the dollar will weaken, quot; said Eisuke Sakakibara, Japan s former top currency official and now a professor at Waseda University. quot; The dollar now looks strong for a technical reason. The money the US financial firms had invested in the world is being repatriated into the homeland, causing dollar-buying. But once this conversion into the dollars is done, the currency will head south, quot; Sakakibara said at a forum in Tokyo on Sunday.|::::|They know. It is in the economic policies. And the Government made the mistake of thinking they were the top. And that giving money to the CEOs of the big corporations would result in just everybody getting it, you know, the trickle down theory. Yeah, maybe trickle sideways. And now ol Bummer is trying to think of ways to give us more of our money. Isn t it great? Tax cuts so we can keep more or our money, more money spent on research into alternative whatevers, maybe a little offshore drilling, . . .|::::|I completely agree with you. Seems to me the way to get the people spending again is to help them. If each person were to get this windfall, the creditors would be paid and defaulted mortgages would be paid so the bail out would right itself. Money left over would make people want to spend some of it which would kick the economy in the but where it needs it to get spending. I can t figure out how they honestly think a measly $600. can help.

Best buy labtops help? -

im 15 and i have enough money for a labtop, my mom wants me to get this bad kind that i dont like, and i earned this money. can i go to best buy to pay with cash for a labtop and recieve on the spot?|::::|Why do you want to buy from worst buy? Buy from reputable store. Buy diredtly from Dell. They have best LAPTOPs of anybody.|::::|Absolutely, I went to buy mine and was kind of nervous cuz i was going to pay in cash. But it was no problem and you can get ur laptop right away. But one very important piece of advice, try to pick ur laptop yourself before you go to the store and don t buy the quot;security packagequot; with ur laptop. They ll end up keeping it over night to intall security software and it will cost up to $200 extra! I made this mistake with my first laptop because it was always really slow but i didn t think much of it until a friend told me that i had too much software running at the same time. I looked into it and it turned out that the tech. guy from the store had installed a crapload of unnescesary software and 2 security programs! If you have 2 sec. programs on ur computer, ur laptop is at risk of being internally damaged (basically on the verge of crashing). One thing u should get however is their warranty. Basically get the plan where you can send ur laptop to get fixed if anything happens to it. Make sure ur covered for at least 2 years. I had accidently poured milk on my laptop, i called best buy and they referred me to the insurance company. they sent me a prepaid box, i sent it in and next thing u know they called me and told me that they were just gonna give me a new laptop! and not only that but it was going to be a better model! Anyways, i m gonna stop typing now but if u have any questions about anything (like what type of laptop u should get) feel free to email me. Happy New Years!|::::|yes. if your not looking for anything that requires screaming fast work, buy one from those type of stores. if you do, and i doubt you do as you misspelled laptop (twice), go buy online and customize it. ignore the person who told you to build a laptop. it is possible, but probably not worth the time and effort into saving around 60 dollars.|::::|Yes, they will sell you a computer for cash. Although if you are 15 and walk in with $1000, they may balk. Laptop = computer that you set on top of your lap. Labtop = roof over a science room.|::::|If you have the money they will sell it to you. But what kind did your mom want you to get and what kind do you want? Good luck with your Mom. ;)|::::|you cant get one right on the spot same day. your best bet is too built your own. its cheaper. or get a Alienware|::::|its the cheapest to get it off the internet like at dell.com dell has good computers/LAPTOPS (thats how u spell laptop by the way -- its w/ a p not a b )|::::|Si

Why do some feminists complain about women having to work AND do the chores? -

when men never asked women to go out to work in the first place ? Werent it women inspired by the feminists movement who wanted to go get a job and earn their own money ?|::::|Having more freedom, rights and responsibilities do not make women happier. Women are complex creatures who have a huge yearning and desire for something more than this world can give us. In fact, it is our nature to be this way. True fulfillment rests in an understanding and practical application of spiritual principles. I have included a couple of links which explain this. Best wishes|::::|Because if both partners are working then both should split the chores. Most working women never asked men to go out and work in the first place either. Of course amount of work and amount of chores should be split proportionally. For example if a man works full time and his partner worked part time it would be perfectly acceptable for him to expect his partner to do more chores than he does but the same goes the other way round. If a woman works longer hours than a man in the relationship then the man should do more of the chores.|::::|Men never asked women to go out to work in the first place? LMFAO. What are you talking about? The original reason women entered the workplace was because men went off to war, and women had to take up the slack. Then as inflation went up, it became too difficult to support a family on a single salary, so most families needed two incomes to survive. So yes, men did ask women to enter the workplace, because if they didn t, they wouldn t be able to support their families.|::::|Well, in fact a lot of women have always had to work. And generally been expected to look after the household as well. However, the idea that being a housewife was so easy that a woman could do a full-time job and fit the housework in in an hour or so was actually the original feminist idea, as put forward by Betty Friedan. That was the idea behind housewives going out to work, that they didn t have enough to do at home and were consequently becoming bored and having a damaging effect on their husbands and families. So said Ms Friedan anyway. But when women started to do it, they suddenly found that the housework that was supposed to be such a doddle wasn t after all, and they all started complaining about it. Feminism is a very strange thing.|::::|If both are living in the house and both are working and paying the bills, BOTH should be doing the chores. Who cares if he never asked the woman to work. He doesn t have to pay the full bills, his wife (or significant other) has her own money, and they compliment each other instead of one being dependent on the other. If they are both working, there is NO reason whatsoever that the man shouldn t be helping around the house. Why shouldn t he? Like I said, its his house too, and his mess too. What s so wrong with working together as a team?|::::|In the quot;good old daysquot; when most married women didn t hold paying jobs, housework was easier for them because they lived in smaller homes and they didn t have as many items cluttering them up. Not only that, but many of them also had maids and housekeepers to help out. Now that people live in larger houses and have many more items filling them up, housework has gotten more difficult. Larger houses take more time to clean and clutter creates more mess and traps dust.|::::|They don t have to, they choose to. Men don t complain about working longer hours or commuting further, because they choose to.|::::|Because if both partners work, then both should also do the chores. Women s lives should not be constrained simply because men are lazy.|::::|Well they dug their own hole. I m sure some go back to just cleaning because they realize that work is harder than doing some little chores.|::::|Feminists just like to complain is all.|::::|slaves get stronger and the ones who sit in front of the screens get weaker|::::|If you are male, get lost :s

Can i earn money without SSn? -

Under the table, and not legally -- if you can find employers willing to pay you even if you are not legally in the country (not gonna be easy, but possible given the proliferation of illegal immigrants). What others do, like for Google Adsense is that they register using their address in their original country, not US (since if you say you are in US, Google will ask for SSN or EIN). The problem though is that the payment is sent to that country. But if you could arrange that the money be sent to you, might be worth a shot|::::|Technically no, not legally in the US.|::::|everyone is given a SSN# at birth - going back at least 20 yrs - how do you not have one? How to earn money in google adsense? -

It takes time. You would need to do some research, find a niche topic to create a website about, and then put the adsense code into your site. I ve been doing it for four years and make the most from niche sites. Even though I make some money from it, there are other ways to increase the profits online (for example, being an affiliate and promoting a product for someone, make 50% commissions on all sales through your link)

Stay at home mom vs.stay at home wife. ? -

I want your honest opinions how do you feel about women who stay at home to raise their children while their husbands make all of the money they call themselves stay at home moms but once the children become young adults and go off to college they become stay at home wife s. Correct me if I m wrong but isn t that selfish and unfair of the wife to carelessly spend her husbands hard earned money?|::::|Any self respecting wife/mom would go out and either get a job, go to school or volunteer after the kids are gone. I would be bored to tears if I stayed home after the kids are gone. You can only cook and clean so much. When my kids are in school I will get a part time job or go back to school. I am my hubby s partner and that means I take care of the things he cant while he is out working his butt off taking care of our family and when the kids are gone, I will start working and let him take some time off and relax a bit. If the husband allows his wife to stay home after the kids are gone then that would be on him. I know my hubby would be like quot; go out and do something productive with your life sweet heartquot;|::::|To address the money issue, the wife is not selfishly spending the husband s hard earned money. In fact, it is usually anything but selfish. The wife/mom spends the money on food for the family, diapers and clothes for the kids, suits for the husband and to pay the monthly bills (mortgage, electricity, etc.). I don t see how any of that is selfish. My mom took care of us and all growing up she never bought herself anything new like clothes, shoes, etc. She would get them from the thrift store once a year. When the last kid began school she got a master s in math and began teaching (and finally has money to buy things for herself; although most of her income goes towards monthly bills). I personally wouldn t be able to stay at home without kids and without working. My mom didn t either. I wouldn t call a woman who raises kids at home selfishly using her husband s hard earned money. And, if that is all he is contributing, then he is not worth it.|::::|Every person is different. Many women may feel being a stay at home wife not only boring, but like being in a gilded cage. Kept as their hubby s pet. Some women take such pride in the care of their home and husband they are willing to devote each day to that. And what they do is worth whatever money they spend, as long as the husband and house are priority. It seems kind of submissive to me, but that is how many women feel.|::::|Why are you automatically assuming that she is carelessly spending money? I m all for both husband and wife sharing financial responsibility by having careers, but some wives don t want or need to work. I have 5 sister in laws and 4 of them are stay at home mothers. None of them plan to stay at home until all their kids are grown and leave home. My mother in law is the only person that I have ever known be a stay at home mom and then continue the stay at home wife gig after her kids have left. They can afford it, so she doesn t work. I think there are a lot of wives who are selfish or they just get used to a certain lifestyle. I would personally shoot myself before I became either stay at home mother or wife. But that s just me. I feel like having a career would be more rewarding than staying at home cleaning up poop, snot and toys all day long. But that s just because every stay at home mother I have ever met looks miserable unless they have a maid.|::::|Mine and Yours! That should never be the case when it comes to married couples and especially when you have children. Working as a team is the most important thing to make a relationship work and to help children grow up understanding what it means to be working as a team. Sharing responsibilities and showing love for one another is essential for everyone...it s a win, win situation. --------------------------------------... Side point: Weather a couple decides on who stays at home or if they decide that both parents have to work. Working as a team is soooo important to the family.|::::|You seem jealous of these kind women whos husband provided them a life style. Do remember, houseworkds and babaysiting is hard work, plus cooking. By stay home, these wifes saved tons of money by doing these jobs. Also sacrefised their career. By the kids all grow up, you want these quot;old womenquot; to fighting in the job market for minimun weighs? Shame on you! Who will spend the husband money, then? younger suger baby? Ya, right, it happens all time. Besides, two people make their life, it is none of others business.|::::|People need to stop worrying about what goes on in other people s homes. I am a stay at home mom, my two youngest are 14 and 17 and my 17 yr. old just had a baby. As long as the husband has okayed it then what others feel is selfish is none of their business. If you are a working mom and wife then good for you but don t down and call selfish what has nothing to do with you. People do things to suit their lifestyles and what works for them works for them and what works for you works for you.|::::|I ve recently left my job to go back to university, so my husband will be supporting us. I don t understand the concept of my money and his money . He finished his degree last summer, and while he was studying I worked full time. We both spent the money I earned, since I earned it for the both of us. He s now going to support me. If a couple have decided that they re happy with one working, the other staying home, then who are you to judge? You have to compromise and share things once your married...|::::|first unfortunately alot of men still believe that the woman s place is in the house with kids or not the real question should be is this fair to the woman to be forced to stay at home and not inter act with societyor to be able to expand there minds past mr.rodgers|::::|Correct me I m wrong, but isn t that up to the couple themselves? If they can afford it, and that s the way they want it, who are we to judge?|::::|It is a mutual decision made by both spouses. It really comes down to what makes them both happy|::::|It s a decision made between two parties, one of which is not you. Why so judgmental and interfering?|::::|Not if the husband believes his wife should stay at home.|::::|I don t think so as long as she s taking care of things in the house yaknow? washing clothes cooking cleaning.|::::|If he doesn t mind, why do you?

Many blame the declining marriage rates on men not wanting to marry? -

Couldnt it be, that with more women coming to modest wealth, those who can not find a partner that is equally rich or has an equal or greater earning potential, do not get married, because women like the idea of getting money in a divorce, but do not like losing money over a divorce and therefore the current marriage and divorce laws are a dealbreaker for successfull women unless they can find somebody of equal, or better greater success ?|::::|interesting spin. i do agree that there still are some double standards that we women need to do something about. like we want to be treated as equals, yet when the guy wants/chooses to stay home often he is still labeled as lazy and worthless, while women who are housewives are seen highly.|::::|Well said.|::::|In this dual income society, the wife s role has changed from a stay at home wife and mother who s job it was was to take care of the family, to a professional in the work force. This has created a greater sense of independence and individuality and women no longer feel that they have to rely on a man to take care of them. Personally, I see this as a good thing. |::::|i blame declining marriage on statistics of 75% of all divorces being initiated by women and the courts favoring women and legally castrate the male of his wealth and livelihood and force him to live in poverty regardless of who she spreads for during her freedom. |::::|I think that it s women who decide that they are independent in a marriage, want to be head of the home, and when they run up against a strong man, their option is to divorce so they can follow their own rules and make hem without regard to another person. I think that yes, if that s what men have to face, why the HELL would they want to marry anyway?|::::|i m writing a paper on this right now for my sociology class. The declining rate of marriage is actually do to the fact that many more couples are cohabiting before marriage. Therefore the stability of a marriage is not present and break ups are more likely to occur. Young people are also putting off marriage until later on because they want to have their education completed and be financially sound before entering into a marriage. Still marriage is the number one choice for most people (4 out of 5 college students say that is a goal in life) it is just taking place later on. So really at this point the marriage rate is declining but in the end nothing has really changed. Eventually the people that are not getting married now will.|::::|That ball pit is full of germs. you shouldn t have that baby in there.|::::|Then again it could be men being emasculated by women, heaven forbid he should try to discipline her brat from her former marriage even though he is helping to raise the kid, financially and otherwise. Or it could be she goes out to work and flirts w/ her male co-workers, then out for drinks etc. what husband needs that? Or she could be the type who always has to be one up him on everything, or her parents always come first, like her mom is over 5 days a week, every holiday etc. Or she could be the type who gets real fat after the first 7 pound baby she gains like 60 pounds amp; watches t.v. all day. Or she could be the type who interogates him when he s like 10 minutes late home from work. There lots of reasons i can see why men don t get married and one big idea is girls today put out for free--he s already getting it all plus she pays her own way--fools that some women are. I bet she even buys a new truck [she pays for it plus the ins. amp; upkeep] just to impress HIM and then she picks him up for the date , women s lib did nothing for women except turn them into aggresive, abortion getting whores. |::::|Love? Not once have you mentioned it hun.|::::|The high divorce rates and the fact that many young people grew up in homes with divorce/remarriage crap is why so many people are putting off marriage. The easy sex attitudes in our society are why people don t need to marry. I m a professional woman, also a divorcee, and I would think that your reasoning has more to do with a man s attitude about a woman being more successful than himself than it does with what a woman loses in divorce. The man I divorced couldn t deal with it and I didn t see that coming.|::::|I think its a change or shift in society as a whole. Marriage is not a necessity in life anymore. And people realize that.
