A unique enough look to model? -
Hiiyaa :) I m 5 6 and 112-114 pounds (my weight always differs throughout the week) And i m not asking this to fish for compliments or to boost confidence or to be told that i am really ugly . Because my question is just that do you think i have got a unique look to model? :) I obviously can t do runway lol but for my height i ve researched that i can do a lot of other stuff :). I don t think i would take modeling as a full time career it was just to maybe earn some money if i could as i ve been told quite a few times i have a unique face or a unique prettiness to me. I m more into photography but i ve thought maybe if i do a little bit of modeling it ll help me when i do photography because i ll know about angles and stuff :) (Sorry about the babbling) Here you go :): http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll178... http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll178... http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll178... http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll178... I know i don t have high cheekbones or a perfect nose or a perfect look so please don t send rude comments :) Thankyou :) xxxxxx|::::|I couldn t make up my mind - then the last picture got me. Absolutely incredible eyes =] You re a bit short, which isn t going to work in your favor, though. Any chance you ll grow another inch? Best of luck!|::::|Have I missed something? I thought models modeled clothes, not their personal features or assets. I would think that anything other than that is something other than modeling. But if uniqueness is a factor in modeling clothes, then, quot;Yesquot;, you do. P.S. You re attractive. You don t need to put yourself down, before others do.|::::|Answer this for me, where do you think modeling is going to take you in your life? Not very far. You think you re going to become famous from modeling? NOT LIKELY. There are millions of pretty girls in this world, so that doesn t make you special. Find a career that is worth something, that s all I have to say.|::::|your pretty defensive right away. being a model requires you to take a lot of criticism from tons of people in the business, so it s probably not for you.|::::|I think so! You look absolutely ethereal!|::::|you are super pretty and it is a good look BUT height baby! height it s a suuuuper big issue! 5 6 it s just plain too short for modeling... sorry agencys are looking for 5 9 to 5 11 ...|::::|i agree you have a unique look :), but i don t think it is suitable enough for the modeling industry. but it won t hurt to try.|::::|i think you can be a model you have a unique look :D|::::|I know you weren t fishing for compliments, but - your eyes are awesome.|::::|you absolutely have a unique look.......and you should try modeling if its something you want to do....|::::|most deffinately|::::|You have beautiful eyes. I don t know anything about modeling, but I thought I d throw that out there.|::::|your very pretty but not high fashion looking sorry|::::|you look amazin, lovely features. you go girl|::::|honestly. yeah youre really unique-looking. i think you could model, not runway though cause youre not tall enough|::::|unique means one of a kind, how can you be quot;one of a kind enough?quot;|::::|i have that poster! and your make ups really pretty and you look really pretty in the 3rd picture|::::|I think you could. definately. :)|::::|you have such beautiful features and yes i think you should try|::::|your pretty, and you should try|::::|u r kinda short.......but you are a beautiful girl|::::|wow!!! ur reeealy pretty. i could TOTALLY picture u as a model. i ? the last pic. keep ur hopes high and dont give up!!!! i wish u the best of luck! :)|::::|I think you are gorgeous. You should defianately look into doing some modeling. The bad thing is that most photographers only pay for semi nude nowadays. BUT maybe put a few pictures up on www.onemodelplace.com or on www.modelmayhem.com and at least get a little exposure. NEVER go to a shoot alone. You could be picked up by an agency but for the most part it would just be for fun!! Good Luck Pretty Girl!!|::::|You do have a unique look and it s actually, very pretty. As a model myself (on a late lunch break) I see my co-workers, and I think quot;we all look the same.quot; You could probably do cover modeling, because they could digitally add in the height to yourself. But modeling was a hard choice for me. I signed a contract that I would not take off my clothes (which I recommend for you and anyone else). I didn t really want to model, but I needed the money for college, and I ran into a photographer who was looking for models that were cheap. I later quit because they were forcing me to take pills and not eat, and even though I weigh the same size as you, I love to pig out. Then I got into another industry where I took pills but I could eat as much as I want, but the limit of calories was about 2400, which I think is pretty high. But all the people I have found in the industry have come across as rude or creepy. My photographer at one photo shoot was horrid. She would say quot;I take pictures for beauty, not dogs. Now fix your posture, amateur.quot; All I m saying (this advice comes from a friend) is that don t let anyone get in your way. Don t take off clothes, stop eating, or anything to affect the real you. A job doesn t require completely changing yourself.
