Does NDP want to increase taxes for high-income citizens? -
I want to become a surgeon. As you know, they get a huge amount of money. The only thing is this: does NDP want to increase taxes for high-income citizens? I am really worried that I will spend around 10 years in university and earn a lot less than I wanted. P.S. The money is not the main reason why I want to be a surgeon :)|::::|The NDP as a general rule always wants to increase taxation to high income people. Whether any particular NDP party (provincial or federal) has the desire and the power (not many NDP governments right now. In fact, only Manitoba) to do so is another question. You can t base future career choices on the prospects of a current government still being in power, it is historically VERY unlikely . Just so you know, surgeons in Canada can expect (after sufficient experience) to earn well above average incomes, certainly, but if you think you will become a multi-millionaire like a US surgeon, you are fooling yourself.
