Do you think every CEO that makes over 1million a year should get fired and give their money to the ....? -

employees who make enough to just survive. Chop the top of the business tree and the roots will do better. I didn t mean give their money. I mean give the money that they would be earning and give it to more people. It would help several people instead of just one lucky guy. 14 hours ago I am sure there would be several intelligent well qualified employees that make way less than 1 million a year that could lead the company way better than a lot of these wealthy criminals who are getting rich by bankrupting the company.|::::|It is very easy to criticize those on the top. Rather then change how much they get paid, we need to change how they get paid. I am ok with them making their big money, but only if they deliver on results, rather then doing a poor job and still getting paid. If you cap salaries, there is a market for ceo s and they can move off.... Rules are allways put into place, but people find ways to break them.|::::|People should be paid in retrospect. If someone does not like their position in a company than it s their obligation to change their status and move up. If they are unable to do so than they obviously don t deserve any more pay. A CEO is more important to the company than a faceless disposable employee. Even if one could do better than the present CEO, it is their prerogative to gain superiority and prove themselves worthy. I don t agree that social welfare should be catered towards especially if many do not make the necessary effort to improve their lives. If they are compensated for their lack of effort, what makes them motivated to achieve more than their present work?|::::|I don t think being a CEO is easy. No company will pay him/her a million if he/she cannot bring the profits of 10 million for instance to the company. Still think the job is easy and he/she don t deserve the money? If the CEOs are criminals then the people who pays them are quot;biggerquot; criminals.|::::|Just because you feel entitled to their money doesn t mean they are crooks. For the most part they have earned their positions and have reaped the rewards of hard work. So get back in the mail room.|::::|No they worked hard for their money why would you do that. They arnt lucky they are smart and actually planned there life to be that way. They didnt make excuses to why they are not better off.|::::|If the employees work hard they can be a CEO and get a million. It seems fair to me.|::::|CEO s and other high paid officers at many companies bring a lot of value to their company. For instance, can you guide a company through bankruptcy; work with suppliers, file correct court papers, analyze impact to the company, renegotiate labor contracts, and emerge a stronger company after the bankruptcy? I think of highly paid CEO s like a sports star. The $10 million a year quarterback is responsible for helping fill the seats of the stadium, getting people to watch the game on TV, and perhaps is the key to a playoff. He has personally added $100 million to the owner s pocket. Is he worth it? If a CEO has ideas and makes decisions that save (or make) the company $60 million/year in profit, is he worth $10 million a year? But I am with you on one thing. When said CEO helps steer the company into its downfall, he should get no bonuses and be fired.|::::|im sorry but you live in a county called AMERICA. Start acting like it. Just because your a poor winey lazy baby, who thinks everything should be spoon fed to him, doesn t mean people who have earned their money should have to throw it away. It people like you who are defaulting on your loans, who can t make your mortgage, who have overspent their whole life, that make the economy bad. I am by no means rich, but i have always made more then i spend. Its called common sense, why don t you get some. Everything has a consequence. If no one made a million dollars (which is not much in this day and age), then know one could buy expensive cars. If no one bought expensive cars then the people that make expensive cars would be out of work. The same goes for everything. If you really want to be FAIR, let take every single penny ever earned and put it in one big pot. Then lets devide it evenly among every living soul on the planet. I imagine you would have a few hundered dollars to your name. the people in ethiopia and other third world countries would consider themselves extremley rich, and your CEO would go bankrupt in a matter of seconds. Maybe you should think before you open your mouth next time.|::::|/slap go move to china where your communist views are welcome. if you have the guts/luck/brains to make the money nobody in the world should have the right to take it from you just so you can bail out a bunch of lay about morons who got themselves into mortgages they can t afford. however CEOs from companies like AIG should be dragged out into the street and shot. EDIT: I would expect you to understand, I am the poor guy in the mail room and I know for a fact that the guy who makes that kind of money at my company works twice the amount of hours i do, planning, organizing and doing things i m not qualified to do yet. i will be qualified someday after i finish my M.B.A but as for right now no i m not. EDIT: work hard, get ahead and spend your money wisely, no what s wrong with america is people like YOU. people who think they should just be given something because they have a pulse. quot;ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your countryquot; -JFK a great american|::::|I believe in the free market. If you want to earn $1,000,000 a year... find a better job, get a better skill, raise your education. Since WHEN did people in America become quot;entitledquot; to tell other people what they CAN or CAN T earn or keep? It s a BUSINESS. IF there WERE people who could do the job for less.... the expensive guy would be fired ,and the cheaper guy would be hired. Clearly that is NOT the case. Stop practicing your Obama quot;class envyquot;. It s OK to be rich. Even Obama is rich... he just wants you to think he be po folk. (as he vacations in his $9,000,000 Hawaiian bungalo)
