Does Travel agents have good salary? ? -

I think travel agents have lower salary than average jobs, but they can travel for free alomost everyday, airplane tickets costs about 500 dollars, people who work for average salary camt earn that money and cant spend that much of money, so speaking of that, does travel agents have good salary ?|::::|The answer is no. Its like normal administrative salary. Travel agents also don t have free tickets as you thought but sometimes airlines might have cheaper tickets for travel agents (not often tho). Besides, if there isnt such offers, travel agents can issue cheaper tickets as there is no need to pay for any service fees. Many travel agents dont travel that much. Im a travel agent.|::::|With the advent of the internet the travel agent job is going away. Half the time now if you contact an airline directly or a company you can get a good deal. There are some big time ones who know their way around but we are talking serious high end. They know something and have some serious connections. I occasionally use one. They can arrange private tours, accommodations and all of that. But other times if I am just flying somewhere I just book it alone. No need for a travel agent as I will find a cheaper fare by myself.
