How to earn money for ballet classes? ? -
12 years old and don t have enough money for ballet classes|::::|well you re only 12 so you can t get a real job which is what i do to pay for my classes. try babysitting for families in your neighborhood. it may or may not be enough depending on how much you get paid, how often you babysit, how expensive your classes are, and then there are also things such as recital costumes, leotards, tights, ballet slippers, etc. at my studio, for one school year s worth of ballet (once a week for an hour) including the cost of shoes/leotard/tights and end of the year costume, it would probably be about $600, which is a lot of money to make babysitting. maybe for christmas and birthdays you could ask for money to help pay for your dance classes. you could also work something out with your parents. i take five classes a week and our agreement is, i pay for 3 of the classes, i buy my own ballet/tap/jazz shoes, and i buy my leotards/tights/etc and my parents pay for the other 2 classes and all my costumes. if they re not up for splitting the cost, offer to help around the house more or something like that. it s hard at your age to make this much money but if you re really dedicated, you should be able to find a way to make it happen. best of luck :)|::::|12 yrs old isn t enough to get a real job, and i know how you feel (why do dance classes have to be so expensive?!). You could get a job babysitting neighbors or relatives. Or have your parents pay you money by earning it, tell them it s not just them handing money over but you re working for it. Like, doing the dishes or cleaning up around the house or vacuuming. Good Luck! (remember:: if it s something that you LOVE, then you have to sacrifice some things to get it and explain to your parents how much you love it)|::::|talk to your parents about getting an allowance. offer to do chores around the house... washing dishes, sweeping and mopping, dusting, laundry, that kind of thing. talk to neighbors and nearby relatives, see if they d pay you something to do the same at their house. yardwork is good too! try talking to some members of your church (if you have one), especially the elderly members. other than that... you re too young to actually be employed (atleast the rule here is you have to be 14 i think...). good luck with this... i know how hard it is to fund a dance career!|::::|Sell your body on teh streets gurl.
