Looking to find work anywhere in the world? -

Hi all, im an electrician from ireland, at the moment there is no work here and im looking to move abroad, i originally i wanted to move to canada but i got a few replies that there isnt much work there, Anybody got any sound advice on where to go and how much money could be earned Thanks in advance|::::|I m not very smart, but seems to me that someone looking to move to a foreign country, where they have to meet the standards and qualifications of a different system, or language, would have the ability to search these answers in better places than on YA! There are electrician jobs all around the world, you skills are in high demand. But, like most jobs, they often require good references, and training. In the USA, there is a system for becoming a Journeyman, then a Master in the Trades, I presume it s the same in Ireland. You should ask your local union about their connections with Electrical Workers Unions in other countries. This way, you could also get more support, advice, and references, BEFORE the move. Why should anyone hire you, over someone else, born and trained in the quot;home countryquot;? Would you expect an American or Canadian Electrician to be hired in Ireland, over an Irishman of the same skills? I m suggesting you should have other reasons to move to a new country, other than just to work. For one thing, I ve heard the Irish economy is booming. Much more than the rest of the world, so it seems to me, are are already in a quot;worker s paradisequot;. But, best wishes on your future.|::::|I am a Canadian, but unfortunately I don t know enough about the job market here in Canada to confidently give you an answer. However, if you check out this website from the Canadian government, it ll give you an idea about current wages for electricians, work prospects, average unemployment, required education, etc. All the best!|::::|gumtree is a good start, they sometimes list rates of pay too. this is a good jobsite for australia: http://www.seek.com.au/ also if you google a countries name and jobs you ll find job search engins for that country. eg search america jobs |::::|uuuu you could try to work in Dominican republic :) over there the lights goes out almost everyday due to this the electronics break or burn|::::|Austin, TX An electrician will make anywhere from 50 to 75,000 a yr.|::::|don t go to New York City, there are too many people and too few jobs. I say find a suburb that suits you, try Pennsylvania or Ohio. Best of luck!|::::|check into one of the cruise lines for a job then from their decide if you will stay at port or cruise on you could go from ship to ship just make sure your visas ore in good standing.|::::|Do you think if you stick your tounge in a vending machine will money come out from being turned on???|::::|You might have better luck with a different trade. I hear a lot of places are hiring repo men.|::::|America is a good spot!
