Nintendo DS Lite Advice Please? -
I am 99% sure I want to buy a Nintendo DS Lite. I want to hear opinions from people who have one. Do you like it overall? Bad points and Good points. What games do you recommend? Keep in mind I am a early 20 s female who is still a kid at heart most of the time. I want to make an educated decision before I go and spend hard earned money on it. Thanks in advance!!|::::|Should you buy a Nintendo DS? Most certainly! Mine has helped me kill time for almost two years now. It s great for slow work days, long car rides or plain boredom. The best thing for you to do when buying a DS is to also buy an R4 (http://www.modsupplier.com/catalog/r4-ds... ) which is a memory card that you can use to download games into the DS, which is brilliant because DS games don t come cheap and it allows you to play even more games than you would otherwise. The ones I d recommend you trying are: *Mario Party *Guitar Hero *Pokémon Diamond/Pearl *Big Brain Academy *Advance Wars: Dual Strike You should also know that the DS is a lot more fun to have if you have a friend who s a fellow DS owner.|::::|I m a 21 year old female and I love my DS Lite. My favorite game is Professor Layton and the Curious Village, its a really interesting game with a great story line and tons of awesome logic puzzles. Also Brain Age is a really interesting game. I m a huge Nintendo fan though, I m not a huge gamer but compare to other game console companies they offer the widest variety of games (between puzzle, action, board, arcade, rpg, etc) and a lot of them are relatively easy to pick up and a lot of fun. They have something for everyone. the only negative i ve had with it is that once you start a game you can t get back to the main menu, you have to shut it off and turn it back on to get into your ds settings. but its really not even that important. other than that i ve never had any problems.|::::|A ds is great (actually, I have the original ds...which I like much better than the lite)! They do have some nice games on it though. Gamewise, go with your interests. Nintendo is a great company that tries to cater to peoples interests. It is AMAZING if you have Wi-fi. I had it a short time, but my computer was not compatible with it. You can play with people from around the country! I have tried it with Pokemon and Mario Kart. It can also be connected with the Wii if you have one. Some games can unlock special features and goodies with a DS. The best part: The customer service is top notch. Whether I needed help with my wifi or if my wii isn t working very well, the people are so friendly and will try their best to help you. It is very durable, too. I have dropped mine down stairs, etc. and it is fine. and if it does break, they WILL give you credit for a new one. Have fun! P.S.- don t care what other people say...if you really don t want one, don t get it. You can completely ignore my advice if you want. I don t care.
