How to become a high paid lawyer? -
How to earn 7 figures as a lawyer. I have heard that being a lawyer is overrated because many quot;lawyersquot; make basically no money.|::::|Lawyers are a dime a dozen. Good lawyers are worth their weight in gold! There is a glut of Attorneys, with some taking jobs outside of law to get by. You ve heard of puppy mills? There are tons of quot;law schoolsquot; that operate the same way. Stay away from the Acme School of Law for example. Law School online -- get serious. If you want to become a high paid lawyer, first attend a reputable law school, have decent grades, seek a highly respected mentor while you are in law school. If you sole reason for attending law school is to make a ton of money - YOU WON T! To make the big bucks you ve got to love what you are doing, with a passion! One of the biggest mistakes young people make when addressing career choices, is focusing first on $$$$! I am retired, and I have truly been there. When I retired I was the CEO of a Fortune 500 Firm, having been COO and CFO of a couple of other firms. My Compensation at retirement was esily in the eight figures, and didn t include money made from sitting on Boards of Directors, speechmaking, consulting , etc. Corporations pay the people that make up their Boards. Example: I sit on the board of one company that requires that I attend one monthly meeting, and their annual meeting. For this I receive more than a quarter of a mil per year. The world does not hold out a brass ring that you simply grab ahold of; never, ever forget that money follows performance. If you work your butt off, and become among the very best at what you do, there are tremendous rewards. The WRONG approach is to sit back in high school or college and focus on, quot;what career will make me really richquot;. By your standards I am indeed loaded. I am rich alright I have a family I adore and that adore me, lots of loyal friends, live comfortably. I don t get off on $$$quot;, my quot;highquot; is rolling on the floor with my grand kids!|::::|THERE s aint no tuition for having no ambition....and aint no loan for sitting ya A$$ at home..... listen...if u joining law for the money.......dont join it.... it doesnt work that way....u have to develop a passion for it....im a lawyer...and I make almost a qrt mill as a partner at Jones Day... Law to me is a challenge....Im a medical malpractice attorney..and although its 50-60 hours a week...I love my job....... being a lawyer doesnt magically start senior yr of college....You gotta put in that effort....to get your gpa as high as possible and get internships at firms, so you can see if thats what you want to do...you should have a mentality that you have to put in 150 percent in school...you dont want to get paid alot of money to be miserable....trust me...it doesnt help at all in the long run.....|::::|my dad is a lawyer and makes in the high 6 figures it depends on the school you go to the type of work you do and simply how good at you are some lawyers dont make a ton because they are idiots and suck at it others make a shitload because they know what they are doing|::::|Go to school build up a name, it just doesn t happen over night. you have to be good at your work, don t become a lawyer just for the money, do it because that s what you want to do in life.|::::|Maybe start with getting an education.|::::|Corporate law pays extremely well.|::::|Help a lot of bad people avoid proper punishment.|::::|-Don t become a paralegal. -Don t work for the state -Go to school -Be good a bending the truth and or lying|::::|go to a good college and get an internship with a good lawfirm
