Is Second life a good game? -

I have joined SL but I havent downloaded the aplication yet. im not quite sure that SL is worth all that memory, but thats just me. AND you have to pay REAL money to get something you cant even touch, now is that fair? I know you get money when you sell things, but the money that you earn isnt that much, and all you do is look at the graphics move. Please tell me whats so good about this game.|::::|you dont have to buy it, make it there an insanne amount of free stuff and to tel you the truth you dont need any of it, WARNING to me i think there are alot of wierdos in that game, but then there are way to many ways to get rid of them(report, shot, kill, hack, blow up, other stuff) like the game is a mix of design and coding(there codeing laguage runs everything) the game is basicly player run, people make the rules, land, stuff, i play it cuse i like making stuff and making it do stuff, i use to play legos and this is like the better uptodate version if you can handle the wierdos that pop up cuse the whole game is player ran basicly and you know how to get rid of them(tehe i use a rocket cage, shot them with a bullet that puts em in a cage and send em flying muhahahah!)|::::|Second Life doesn t cost any money to participate in. The client should be free, and connecting is also free. When you join you get some free virtual money (Linden Dollars). If you want to buy lots of things, then you need to shell out some real money to get more linden Dollars. As for what s so good about it, I don t think anything is. For me it s not interesting. People use it mostly as a 3D chat application, as far as I can tell. If you re artistic it gives you more control over your avatar s appearance. But it s a huge memory and bandwidth hog, and I ve always had poor luck with its performance when moving around. Still, some people who use it absolutely rave about it and spend all their free time in the virtual world. It all depends upon what you re looking for. If you want a game, you re better off with something like World of Warcraft, which also has a social experience.|::::|It s not really a game. It s an environment. If you don t pay, mobs will stuff up your character and push you into a chasm. A few corporations have paid millions for real estate there, just in case, but no one is really there.
