Where can i find work? -

Its the summer holidays and i want to earn some money. But im 14 right. And where i live is a smallish town and to work in cafes supermarkets maccas kfc warehouse and resturants you have to be 15. There isnt any paper runs that i can find at the moment coz all the intermediate kids are doing them. I dont know of anyone who needs baby sitting or dog walking and all that and i just dont know where else to go . has anyone got any ideas where else i could try.|::::|Here s a short list of jobs which you can create to generate income: 1. Learn calligraphy so that you can provide handwritten invitations and thank you notes to prospective wedding parties, birthday celebrations, etc. Seek out clients through wedding planners at nearby churches and temples. A starter calligraphy kit usually runs around $20 and anyone can easily pick up this skill. The going rate is usually $1 per hand addressed item. 2. Seek from your neighbors a gardner position which involves planting, weed removal, plant/tree trimming, light brush clearance. You will be using the neighbor s equipment and tools. Again, do not represent yourself as a lawn mower since there are any number of safety issues involved. A door-to-door solicitation of surrounding neighbors is required and you can charge between $6 to $9 per hour. 3. Offer policing/removal or clearance of trash services to surrounding neighbors which involve trash pickup within nearby residential area. Limit the extent of pickup to small areas and be aware that there are no hazardous terrain or elements involved in this process. Again, a door-to-door solicitation of neighbors is in order. You can charge between $6.75 to $7.50 per hour. 4. Acquire a set of window cleaning tools [a bucket, liquid window cleaner, sponge, squeegee, handle with an extension and a small step ladder] and solicit local businesses for your window cleaning services. However, be careful to limit the height of the window cleaning to no higher than one story. Charge $1 per window panel. 5. Why not become a paid feeder servicing the disabled at nearby nursing, convalescent, assisted living/care centers and hospitals. It involves feeding food to patients who are unable to feed themselves. The starting rate is $8.00 per hour. The only downside is that one has to take precautions to wash one s hands after each feeding. A posting of your services [by a business card or flyer] on a reviewable bulletin board would be enough to generate customers. The paid feeder position is one of the fastest growing occupation at this time. Good luck!|::::|There are plenty of potential problems for minors in work, many of them law-related, parents and guardians need to be careful about that. Is there anyone to help me....??? pls? -

I returned back from Aussie after i was no longer able to continue my higher education on my own. It was quite difficult for me to get a job , i didn t want to bother my parents as well. Now i m in HK trying to earn enough money and still, it still seems a vain struggle. i m afraid i will die a helpless and useless girl. I returned back from Aussie after a year and i feel so badly guilty about having not to accomplish my mission. i don t know how to get rid of it...or maybe i should ask for help to go there again??? ( you might say what a shame.....)|::::|I say continue your education in HK because I know HK is well-known for some of their education universities. Focus on your life in HK, and keep trying to find jobs. I wouldn t suggest going back to Australia... it seems too much of a vacation for you, and it can be a financial burden. I don t see the point in adding on to the bill. Do you have your career planned out? Did you finished your education in HK already? Maybe you should be looking into that..

I am dating a guy for a month. He is 21 years. Yesterday he told me that he invest some of hismoney to make porn film because its a easy way to earn money for college. It looks like he s trying to do what he can in order to pay for his education. He s not doing anything illegal, right? There are other things he could be doing, but this is what he chooses to do. This is a moral decision that only you can make. Obviously you have an issue with it, otherwise you wouldn t be asking the question. It s definitely not something that I would do. I d rather work at McDonald s, but that is me. My other concern would be what kind of company is he keeping and possibly exposing me to? Do some soul searching and decide what is best for you and you alone.|::::|I guess you ll be fine unless he asks you to be in one of the movies

Question for Jehovahamp;#39;s witnesses (not much of a religious question)? -

This dosn t have much to do with the religion, but I figured it would be best to ask the opinions of Jehovah s witnesses because you would understand my goals better due your beliefs and what they involve. Anyways, I REALLY do have goals for 2009, and they are all realistic because of my current circumstances. I just turned 16, my family has come across ALOT of money, and I have readiness to leave all of the terrible things in the past and move on with my life. so tell me, are these good(and/or fun) goals? (also, I STRONGLY beleive in and love Jehovah, I just haven t been active in the truth since I was 8, so I don t knoww what to call myself as far as religious matters go) one more thing, some of these are personal goals, some goals just for fun, and some serve multi purposes. 1. make to as many meetings as possible. 2. Make it to the assmebly 3. of course, The memorial for Jesus (although I m inactive,I haven t missed a memorial since BIRTH! 4. preach the good word of Jehovah. 5. Go to Reno (i live close, and it s fun) 6. Go to San Francisco ( live VERY close, want to go more often) 7. Go to L.A. for the first time in my life 8. Go to El Paso TX, to visit relatives. 9. Go to Santa Cruz CA (again, i live close) 10. Spending more time with friends 11. MOVING into a house (moving from an apartment) 12. Losing 20 lbs. (lost 15, 20 more to get in good shape) 13. volunteer work (this serves 3 purposes to me) 14. spending even MORE family time (I already spend alot of fam time) 15. becoming a certified babysitter (just to earn some money) 16. meeting MANY new people through work, religion, volunteer service, and school. 17. going into junior year of high school at public school(homeschooled this year due to BAD social anxiety disorder) 18. getting my driver s lisence 19. Gaining more happiness and confidence overall! I m just tired of isolating myself from the world and not fullfilling my dreams and hopes, i m tired of being depressed, I ve gotten help, these goals are VERY realistic (VERY, according to my family too) and I need to Change my life for the better, and be a teenager while I can!|::::|Dear Janelle: It is very commendable your goal is to serve Jehovah more and to have fun. Your goals should be realistic and attainable. Reading a chapter of the Bible each day can be a reasonable goal. You can also start a research project. To illustrate this with something available in English, you might study the qualities of Jehovah that are listed under the subheading “Qualities by Name” under the entry “Jehovah” in the Watch Tower Publications Index. There are about 40 entries that you can consider, and the research will no doubt draw you closer to Jehovah and stimulate you to do more for him. Other attainable goals include commenting at least once during each Christian meeting that calls for audience participation, getting to know better at least one member of the congregation at every meeting, and not letting a day pass by without praying to Jehovah and speaking about him to others. If you have not yet enrolled in the Theocratic Ministry School, that would be a good goal for you. Have you been participating in the public ministry? If not, you may want to work toward becoming an unbaptized publisher. Seriously considering your relationship with Jehovah and dedicating yourself to him would naturally be the next step. Many youths endeavor to live up to their dedication by reaching out for the full-time ministry. While it is good to have goals in your life, beware of developing a spirit of competition. You will find more joy in what you do if you do not compare yourself with others.—Galatians 5:26; 6:4. Perhaps you feel that you are inexperienced and find it hard to set reasonable goals. Then follow the Bible’s counsel: “Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise ones.” (Proverbs 22:17) Enlist the help of your parents or other mature Christians. Parents and others, of course, need to be reasonable and encouraging in this matter. Feeling pressured into striving toward a goal others set for them can rob young ones of joy and may even defeat the purpose of setting goals. That happened to one girl, who said: “My parents set one goal after another for me, such as enrolling in the Theocratic Ministry School, sharing in field service, getting baptized, and becoming a pioneer. I made strenuous efforts to reach each one of them. When I attained one goal, my parents did not commend me but, instead, gave me another goal to strive for. As a result, I always felt driven to reach goals. I was exhausted and felt no sense of accomplishment.” To succeed, you must be motivated to take the initiative in setting a goal for yourself. (quot;Watchtower April 1. 03. p. 10.) I pray Jehovah will bless your endeavor. Christian love - Mr. Cal lt;watchtower.orggt;|::::|Ok...If any of your goals ......take you time for dedicate to learn about God and his purpose...and are against what the bible advice.....do you think is worthless|::::|If you want to have true happiness and a sure hope for the future in the new system of God, your priorities should be more spiritual, that s the only way you can really help yourself and help others. 1John 2:15-17|::::|Since you ve put spiritual things first on your list, do everything possible to keep them there. It certainly won t help for any here to make negative comments, so I hope no one does. Please be aware, though, that suddenly coming into a great deal of money may seem to solve problems or create freedom, it is also one of the main traps that Satan uses to convince us the the end of this system is far off. Agape, Sis, and do your best to change your spiritual status from inactive to doing your best for Jehovah ASAP!|::::|Pretty good goals though not all are practical in one year. 1-4 always good. 5-9 travel when one can is fine too. 10, 11, 13, 14 are at odds with travel. 11 by yourself? or with family? 12, 15 always good personal and helpful goals. 17 are you cured or cleared of that disorder? 18 the desire of every living thing********* 19 by doing most of 1-18, #19 will happen. I would suggest adding to #1 by joining the Ministry School as it will build your confidence, control and add to your happiness. Life coaches tell us we never make changes in our lives until it becomes too painful not to change. Hardly ever will change come from just seeing the good change can bring.

Moral dilemma with a girl? -

Hi there, I’m afraid it’s not such a short story but I’d really appreciate if you could bear with me and tell me what you think… In April 2008 I met this girl to fall in love with via an old friend of mine and what had started with a bang turned into a really hot affair where we both would try and meet as often as possible. These meetings were always really passionate and the chemistry between us was amazing … we soon figured out that we were falling in love with each other but I’m not a very pushy character and another reason why we didn’t take this relationship further was that to begin with, I was still in a deteriorating relationship with another girl so I was not really completely free for her in the beginning I had told her that I would probably not be able to be with her because of this. So, my new girl in the meantime and since she didn’t believe that I would really be able to be with her, started another affair with a successful photographer who she says was mainly a way for her to “protect herself” from me… she says that she doesn’t love him but uses him for getting into the whole photography thing which always had been a dream of hers… the guy even took her on a photo shooting trip to another country for two weeks during which she kept sending me signals that she really wanted me, that she didn’t love the guy etc. This whole thing with the other guy was so horrible for me and so hard to understand since in the meantime she always kept seeing me and telling me that she really wanted to be with me… I mean if you are really freshly fallen in love with someone, can you have another relation with someone else that easily? Most people would have their problems with this but I found out another thing about her… she basically belongs to a select group of women that have more or less successfully mastered the separation of sex and love since she also works as a high class luxury escort for an agency earning a lot of money and apparently has no real issues with making someone believe that he’s real hot to her although she doesn’t care for him… (photography = money?)… at the same time she also tells me that she’s not happy with this life, that she wants out and that she needs my help and that she wants to be with me… on top of this, the photographer is all crazy for her too, similarly as myself I guess, but there is an important difference… he doesn’t know about me nor about the prostitution thing, otherwise I guess he would be gone, the same way that I should be gone too maybe… You see my dilemma is that I believe her that she really loves me and that’s what keeps me stuck like glue and crazy for her… over all the time we spent together she NEVER tried to take financial advantage of me, rejected my attempts to treat her to something expensive never asked for money nor accepted it and moreover, always told me the truth although it wasn’t that pretty… I made it clear to her that she would have to choose since I couldn’t force myself to be with someone who would continue to earn money like this (whereas I could see myself being with someone that had this past) and that she would have to dump the photographer. So, she really is the girl of my dreams and I’m sure she loves me too but I’m also quite scared of all this now… |::::|I could work, but not with you demanding the changes. She has a lifestyle that has benefited her. The odds are against you and she having a successful long term relationship. I suggest continue taking it slowly and enjoying what you have - but you must give up the jealousy stuff. Good Luck |::::|Wow.. that is really really long.|::::|Run, don t walk. Prosper didn t fully understand the legal ramefications of what they were doing and are currently in a quot;quiet periodquot; until they get SEC approval to continue. The quiet period will probably last another 4 months. As for earning 20%, you won t. To get a 20% or higher interest rate, you have to loan to people with C or lower credit ratings. These people have these credit ratings for a reason. By the end of 1 year, 40% will have defaulted on their loan. By the end of 3 years, more than half will have defaulted. If you only have 1 loan, if it defaults, you lose all of your money. Here s the legendary case. He lent to Es at 20%. Cumulatively, he s lost 20% of his money. Do comic strip writers earn a lot of money? like those whom publish stories in tokyopop? -

i was hoping to become a comic strip writer, so thats why..|::::|Depends on what you re writing. American comics have declined a bit over the years in popularity, and they have a small target audience (usually young boys and then a few collectors). However, if you re talking about tokyopop and you re interested in writing manga, that s a little different. In Japan, being a mangaka (a manga artist, like American comic strip artists) is a more well-respected position, and manga is always growing in popularity as more cultures worldwide are gaining an interest in Japanese popular culture. Also, manga has a larger target audience, because it is written for all ages (for example, shonen for boys, shojo for girls, seinen for young men, and josei for young women). You can make a very good living being a manga artist as long as you have good ideas and talent. . . however, you will probably have to go to Japan to really succeed with it gt;lt; (there are still some popular mangas that originate from outside of asia, but they re more rare) However, if you have a lot of talent, keep working hard! ^^ Try publishing online comics as well (those are very popular right now, and many kids are being discovered that way by larger companies). Good luck and I hope to see your comics being published someday!|::::|Actually, comic books are collected by adult men amp; some women. Comics haven t been child-safe since the early 90s. Report Abuse |::::|Comic strip writers are not the same type at all as mangaka or american comicers. The strip makers can make about $50 a strip last I checked. but that was probably the late 90s. If they make that for just a single strip, I would imagine comicers amp; mangakas make more.

Semi truck driver job ( industial friegth) life ,salaries etc ? -

Hi my boyfriends live in detroit im in spain. he s a truck driver for an industrial frieght deliver across the country. since were getting marry next year he said that he will support me( 500$/month) and ask me to quit my job w/c i did. now its been 3 mos now and all he send me is 240$ i ask him why he cant send me 500$ dollars a month like he said , he told its slow in america right now and its hard to earn money and tell me that it will peak soon and he s doing his best, told me i should not worry coz he promise he will take of me. he plans and promise many things for our future, which is not happening right now. im up set and disappointed, and so worried if he is just all talk and no action. my question is How much salary is the truck driver in detroit make a month? How do they get thier salary( per delivery, per costomers.hourly, weekly or monthly). do they have fix income ( he said he usually make 2000$ a week but now he make only 700$ for 20days.im confuse) Is it really a slow season now? when is the peak season for this type of job. Do you think its a good paying job stable job. Hope anyone have knowledge/expirience about it could explain it to mere clearly and give me advice. tnx|::::|It is hard to say if he is telling You the truth, but I can tell you that some places here in America the truckers having a slow season. I hear that the ports are not moving like in Seattle area and if it isn t moving there is might be slow all over. With the huge snow storms all over will slow him down. It is hard to tell you what he makes because I have no idea. Some places make them take care of all the repairs, gas and ETC. If his work is good they make fairly good money. My brother drove truck for over 30 years and did very well. I found out years ago that when a man is in love he does want the wife to stay at home and not work, but any more both have to work , so having a job is a good idea. Men are hard to understand, but I have never yet see one who stayed in love for over the first year...I mean enough to make women happy. But, also I can be wrong, every man is different. Things are looking real bad in America now with the bailouts. A lot of people disagree with me. I do stay real close with what is going on and do a lot of research. They cannot keep spending and put nothing back into the country. America is not going to be a safe place when this these guys get through with us and I am concern of riots, violent disturbance which the people will get very angry when they find out thay have been screwed boy our government. Just want you to know and they say when the truckers start slowing down it is a sure time of something is about to happen. Nothing is stable anymore. But I hope the truckers will have a job, if not we are in a world of hurt. They transport, food, clothes, medication, car parts and much more. We need them and they do a great job. Most Americans are dumb down and believe that America will never fall and have hard times. I hope I am wrong. What ever you do, please try to work. If something does happen, you don t want to be here and cannot get back home. Good luck!

Iamp;#39;m 17 and i need to know of any jobs i can do for like one day or such. I need money fast? -

Please help i m 17 and i need help with ideas that way i can earn some money fast. Nothing formal but like one day helpout ideas or something. PLEASE HELP!!|::::|One day jobs usually mean some type of physical labor: mowing lawns, raking leaves, putting up Christmas lights, etc. You might check with friends and neighbors and see if they know anyone needing some help around their palce (are you good at cleaning toilets??). I know the best paying, short-term jobs my kids ever had was babysitting. Whether you are male or female, if you are a reputable person, you can usually find someone needing a babysitter for a day or eveniing. Lots of parents go to Christmas parties at this time of the year, and in some areas, baby sitters are scarce. Also, with school soon to be out in most areas, they may need some in-home care for kids during the week. Again, check with friends or neighbors and put some flyers out at a local grocery store, etc. to get some prospects. Good Luck.

How do I tell my parents....? -

After a lot of careful consideration I have come to the decision that Uni isn t for me (at least not now anyway)! I ve decided to drop out and change my part-time job to full-time, earn some money then travel to Australia for a year in September. My only problem is how to tell my parents. I don t rely on them financially so they can t do anything hurtful to me but I love them a lot and I m scared they will go ballistic and stop speaking to me. I brought it up before and they told me not to be ridiculous and I should finish my studies. Uni really does make me very unhappy and continuing would only be a waste of my time and money.............How do I tell them!?!?!?!|::::|Im sure they love you too! if you sit down and explain to them that s what your going to do they will understand, may not like it but its understood. i don t think they will banish you for it so just do it. however your parents are wise and one day you WILL look back on this and say it was a mistake. Good luck and don t give up on school, finish it in a year or 2.|::::|Just tell them your ideas and ask them if they have any better ideas or thoughts first. If not, then tell them you really want to do what you ve listed above. It would be really nice to travel to Australia for a year..(i went there before for a month). They should be understanding..just don t argue if at first they don t understand. Just stay calm and be able to defend all your reasons. |::::|Be honest, and tell them it s your life, and you know they might think you re making the wrong decision, and maybe you are. The best thing in life is to live it how you want to. It could end at any day, so have fun while it s still with you! X anya|::::|be honest. can they be upset forever? is it worth yoru happiness? i as a parent would prolly be upset, but i want my kids to be happy and if thats what you need to do, tell them.|::::|why dont you tell them you wont to go on you oe for a year and pick up you studys when you get back that might help .all the best in telling them.|::::|Please don t come over here and take all the good jobs. we have a high unemployment rate. I think Australians should get jobs over working visa people.|::::|You just come right out and say how you feel and what your plans are|::::|Life is about roads we travel and different paths to take, what is the point of sticking another year or 2 in something you absolutely hate, life is to short. Maybe going to Australia and working on a lettuce farm is the way to go for a year. There are a lot of people that go to school and say take teaching or social work, get the job and absolutely can not stand it, so they do something different, education is never a waste, talk to the uni and see if there are some transferrable courses to another program. Mom and Dad probably can sense already something is off, sure they won t be happy, but you have one life and its yours to live.|::::|How are you going to support yourself for a year in Australia? You ll need a work visa if you plan on earning money there for that year, you ll also need to also apply for various visas to be able to stay in Australia for a year s time. Usually they only give out a 6 month visa to visit. Where do you plan to stay? Where are you going to eat? How much is this going to cost? How long do you plan to work and then leave for your trip? If you finish your studies, you d have a degree that could take you ANYWHERE to get a decent job. You ll get paid more in any career job you ll have and you ll be able to achieve this dream with a more leveled head. I think you ve got a lot of big ideas that you haven t thought through very well yet. As you get older, you ll do a lot of things that won t make you happy - but YOU HAVE to do it for your own good and well being. You need to finish school, these days you can t get a good job to live off of if you only have a high school diploma. You tell them what you want to do, when you re actually capable of having these big ideas and the financial support to accomplish them. To your parents, you re pretty much bankrupt if you present them with this idea and that you re quitting school. Make a financial plan, find out the cost of living, food, renting a car, car insurance, renting an apartment / living in a hotel, travelling costs, health insurance cost, visa application costs, entertainment/miscellaneous costs (you ll also be a tourist with the interest of collecting souvenirs), and other costs like entertainment (going to bars, movies, dinners with new people), gas, water use, because you ll be basically living on your own. Think about medical costs, especially when you don t have Australia s insurance coverage, however that may work, you ll have to pay full price if you have an emergency. That s BIG BUCKS! (Also if you live in Australia for a year, you have to pay your own taxes - depending on their tax law, you might need to pay Australia or the country of your true residence). You still have to do your yearly duties. Then compare to the money you ll actually have, how long it s going to take you to make it, and then present all this information to your family. Show them that you are capable of making educated decisions.|::::|Well a gap year is a normal thing to do. Lots of students need it to take a well earned break, and get refreshed for continuing their studies. Tell them that this is a great life experience. Its a fact too that if an employer looks at the applications for potential employees, they will always go for the one that has the qualifications AND a bit of life experience too. It shows maturity in an individual. But your parents have life experience too, and probably worry (and correctly) that you will not return to your studies, and therefore jeopardise any long term goals you had planned. Reassure them you plan to return to your studies, and do your best to get their blessing on this. You might need them while youré away, and you dont want to go on bad terms!! And you never know what life is going to throw at you, you might go and make a life abroad for yourself, you might enjoy the experience for what it is and actually WANT to return to your studies...but whatever the outcome, a year will have passed and your parents panic about your future will be water under the bridge. Good Luck...have fun...my mates did...one couldnt wait to get back, the other didnt come back and is married, with 3 kids and a whole new career out in australia...9 years later!

How would a company like GM be close to bankruptcy? -

Why do they invest all their dollars in the market so that when crisis happens they have no cash!!! What kind of market strategists they have? GM owns percentages of every other auto companies around the world and how the hell it is not able to survive from the money that it earns from other auto makers like BMW...? Please somebody enlighten me. Thanks|::::|It is extremely complex. So is building a car. GM is just like the U.S. It has healthcare problems just like the US has Medicare problems. It has pension problems just like the US has Social Security problems. So you don t have to look any further than the U.S. and its government to know the issues at GM. Especially since GM has aligned itself with the government as a means to make it viable long term. GM does the same thing as the government, usually by the governments request or demand, like making weapons when we are at war like WWII or lowering borrowing cost (zero percent financing) to help the economy in the midst of a 9/11. Complacancy, over-dependence, apathy, arogance are other things that plague GM and the U.S. The model of whats good for GM is good for the country and vice versa have been a GM model. GM has helped out the country in many ways. But now, in the midst of needing the country now, it is turning its back on GM. Hopefully, the prophecy of when GM goes so does the country doesn t come true but everything points to it as being true.|::::|For years they have borrowed money to support their operations, with the hope that someday things will recover. But things just keep getting worse. Their cash flow from operations was $166B for the past 12 months, but the operating costs were $185B. If costs can be brought in line, the company is viable, but only through debt discharge and cancellation of contracts can that occur. A bailout just prolongs the inevitable, because they ll just wait for good times to come round again. Management blames the credit markets for their current predicament, but they ve run a negative net income for years. Like the gambler that keeps feeding the slots, waiting for that one big payout.|::::|Poor business leaders (old boys network) make short term decisions that make them look good. They get big bonuses and then walk away when the chit hits the fan or beg governments for handouts to support a business model that does not work. They are willing to throw good money after bad to pursue the same crazy business plan. PS they spend $1 billion to design a new car. The Japanese do it for $50 million. Need I say more?

Easy ways for my 12 Year Old to Make Money? -

My 12 year old daughter saw this World Vision Christmas Catalog in the mail and really wants to raise money to buy stuff from it to help other people. We cant really do anything at her school because of her strict principal, I WONT LET HER GET A JOB, and she wants to earn the money and not from us... Help? |::::|Maybe get her to start a craft such as making lanyard. The small string should be fine for sort of small hands, maybe you can help her set up a website and sell them to raise money for the funds. It s winter, so a little labor? Maybe Shoveling snow? That maybe a little much but it s a thought. Um, selling candy, stuff like that. Sit her down and ask her if she can of stuff she would like to make and sell as a fundraiser? Some kids are surprisingly creative.|::::|Garage sale, post flyers for stuff she can sell? Maybe take a look around your house and use it as an opportunity to clean out stuff, let her sell them and keep the money. Any time I put something small up it sold right away! Hot cocoa stand outside/lemonade stand what s the weather like in your area? Driveway sweeping/snow shoveling. She has to work just a tiny bit in order to earn something, its way of life. Good luck with everything :)|::::|Ok. Well she can collect pop bottles, cans. Or babysit. What can Obama do to earn the support of disabled veterans? -

I was a McCain supporter and vote Republican. I did my share of Obama bashing but have come to grips that he will be our next President. So being a disabled Iraq war vet I have asked myself what can Obama do to earn my support and the support of other veterans? How about more money for compensation? 100% free dental care? More programs to help homeless veterans obtain housing? More support for our children? More money to go to college with? The GI Bill is simply not enough I have exhausted mine. Anyone else have any ideas? If Obama wants to make his mark he needs to start right here dammit!|::::|Ask not what your country can do for you....|::::|Lots of vets support Obama. McCain is not well liked by most veteran s groups because he has a terrible record on veterans issues. If Obama continues to support efforts to improve veterans hospitals, bring troops out of Iraq, etc... I don t think he ll have any problems.|::::|The democrats have always treated us disabled vets better, and McBush amp; McCail both tried to cut our benefits in 5 out of 7 budgets under Bush. The RNC likely lost the election over veterans cause mathematically you need 40% of the vet vote to win, and Obama won 45% of the vote.|::::|So, in essence, you re asking what he can do to buy your support? Come on, buddy, He isn t American, he lies, he s socialistic and way too liberal to be allowed to hold public office, and you want him to buy you? I can only ask one thing. Got patriotism? Don t you think you should?|::::|Obama repeatedly voted for better support of disabled veterans (and other veterans). McCain was mostly against such measures. There is no reason to believe that Obama will change his mind on this subject. You can expect improvements for yourself.|::::|Disabled veterans gave huge support to the Obama campaign. It was McCain s ignorance of the new GI Bill that made him look bad.|::::|democrats have always treated vets better then the repubs, all he has to do is follow the party line.

Why we are here on the earth?---think seriously after reading this..? -

Dont laugh it is a very serious question.... Some might say to achieve a GOAL.... Some will say to enjoy to the fullest.... Some will say to earn money and die..... Some will say just to explore the whole world the different locations,Food,etc.. Some will say to do some social work or to find real love,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,etc,,,,,,,,,,,, But is it that we are here just to enjoy, earn or for running after a goal,.... Why?????? We all are living....but dont know why we are here... Dont think that I m a stupid guy asking this kind of question...Just give some time to think about this question.....and then find the answer....|::::|To Love God To Serve God And To Honor God We need to also love others that how we should all live life|::::|that s right. some people believe it will end because of what their religion is teaching them but the true is the world doesn t end, we died and reborn again into another family or can became animals, any living thing. that s why living as a human being is a gift to experience and some of us are wasting it. some people will say i want to kill myself, they have to know that what they didn t want to face that course them to kill them one way or the other they will back here on earth and will face the same fear until they face. what we life behind we come back in to another family or any living things and will have to face the fear we left behind. that s why we have to be kind to one another if not many birth will happen and most of the children will still be miserable children because of what they have done in the past life.|::::|I am always thinking about this question, and now I am thinking about Adam and Eve and their sin to be fallen on the earth. Do they thrown from the heaven because of taking the fruit of knowledge tree? If this fiction is true, then I maybe reach to this conclusion that I have been fallen to the earth to pass the way of perfection that will be achieved after death and in the other world. All the above list is not the reason of being here on the earth.I am still thinking about this issue.|::::|I do not think you are stupid because you asked this question. In fact, most of us think about this at some point of time in life. I think we have come here to understand life, to understand good, evil, courage, struggle, greed, contentment, peace, anger, happiness, ananda (bliss), jealousy, love, hatred....everything. No other species except human beings are able to experience so many emotions and learn from the. By going through different experiences we come to know about these emotions, their importance and realise which ones are good and which ones bad. We understand God and with it try to get peace in our lives. To know that God is our ultimate objective, our ultimate desire where we can find peace and bliss is what we are here for. This realisation does not come easily and God is always there for us to help us out. This does not mean that one should leave his house, family and job in search of moksha . It merely means that while doing all the karma, how can one become one with the Great Lord|::::|Because earth is where we were born. I remember sharing my earliest remembered childhood dream with someone once, in this dream I was entity of sorts crossing between dimensions (not aware of what I was). But in view I saw the earth and a force was compelling me to choose my parents, in a mili second the choice was made, and then I was propelled into my mothers womb, then I was born and for the first time I opened my eyes and I was alive, still the entity I was before but in body. I like to think to myself that s how it goes, like I said its the earliest dream I can remember, but brings me comfort to think on it.. Thanks for the question.|::::|I don t think you are stupid for asking this question, but I do think you are stupid for calling yourself albert einstein. Figure this one out yourself genius. Of course, Einstein couldn t since he thought everything was relative. How sad.|::::|I do not identify with any specific religion (traditional or otherwise). But, I believe our purpose on Earth is to consciously bring forth our spiritual center. Succeeding here, even if only by degrees, will help to decrease planetary unnecessary suffering which, in turn, will help to manifest the source of all consciousness--divine love. Just to add to this point, here s some enlightening information that I happened to encounter while watching a movie (how we realize our spiritual center is not as important as getting the job done): What intimate knowledge of reality can we claim? What personal insight into our own nature can we claim? Last night I took another look at Stigmata, one of my favorite movies. Just before the end credits ran, these words appeared on the screen: “The kingdom of God is within you and all around you and not in buildings of wood and stone. Split a piece of wood and I am there, lift a stone and I am there.” These words, words taken from the gospel of Thomas, were recorded in the Aramaic language—the language of Jesus--some nineteen hundred years ago. The next words that appeared on the screen were these: “Whoever discovers the meaning of these sayings will not taste death.”

How does one earn $5000 in one month legitimately? -

This is more of a thought exercise than an actual question, otherwise I d be quite a fool for thinking it might actually be possible...or is it possible? The question here is posted more towards tips and recommendations towards reaching this goal, as opposed to a clear cut plan of action. The money is simply on a single-person basis, earned through legitimate means and to be utilized for personal gain. The rules are simple: 1) Loopholes within the law are not to be utilized. 2) No sexual favors of yourself or others will be utilized. 3) No charities on your behalf shall be requested. (Fraud) One other thing: It can t be as simple as just getting a high-paying job. It can be a good recommendation, but not the only solution to the problem. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!|::::|Not really sure where you are going here. First thought that came to mind for me is why only $ 5,000,00 There s some great entrepreneur trainers out there that talk about our financial thermostat. If you have a limit set on the thermostat; that is where it will be. So, in this case the 5 K that has been set; well, that s as high as it will go. Being self driven in the world (meaning running your own business; and of course a legitimate business) is the only way to build wealth of any consequence. One of the best parts about this is that you are assisting others in their lives as well as they are employed by your company. Use of the word quot;loopholesquot; isn t helpful to anyone. Feeling lonely in my office!? -

May be its weird, but am with this company for 1 year. Initially it wasn t much worse because my primary aim was to earn money and not complain. But now I feel trapped, with no other job offers. Honestly no one of my age around except for one hispanic girl who seems to ignore me for whatever reasons she might have. (I get to say hi only during lunch breaks and only when we happen to be near the microwave at the same time). Everyone else is married, have their own talks, know each other well, have fun, laugh except for me. I know days when I have not spoken a single word except for a hi-bye thing. HELP!|::::|Wow, you are blessed without having to talk to others. Man, I have the same situation at times and god bless the silence. Honestly, if you would like to talk to people (and people older than you are just lazy and sometimes wont come up you and when they do that is just plain scary) go up to them and start being warm and talkative. I turned a very tense set of people quite jocular when I made my presence and started joking and what not. You gotta be a friend or out-going to get other people going.|::::|people are never happy. you should be glad you dont have to talk to them and they dont mind. you are lucky. and your getting paid. Would you like to read a Senatoramp;#39;s response to the Auto Bailout Bust? -

I received this letter from the Republican Senator in Florida, Mel Martinez. I am a Democrat, but found it very interesting and wanted to share it. Your opinions? Thank you for contacting me regarding the automobile industry. I appreciate hearing from you and would like to take this opportunity to respond. On November 17, 2008, Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) introduced two bills (S. 3688 and S. 3689) that included provisions that would amend the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act to direct the Secretary of the Treasury to make a loan of up to $25 billion to automobile manufacturers and parts suppliers. Both S. 3688 and 3689 have been placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar and await further consideration. In the meantime, Congressional leaders have directed the auto manufacturers to present a comprehensive proposal by December 2, 2008, that explains exactly how they would use public financing and details a clear plan to return to profitability. The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs is scheduled to hold hearings on the proposal prior to any consideration by the full Senate. I believe that the domestic auto industry is an integral part of the American landscape and that the failure of General Motors, Chrysler, or Ford could, in the short term, further damage our already fragile economy. However, I do not support using funding from the Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP) to assist the auto industry, as Senator Reid’s legislation would direct. TARP is specifically targeted to the credit markets and should remain narrowly focused on that industry. I do support altering the Section 136 program to allow automakers to immediately tap a $25 billion loan program included in a broader energy package enacted by Congress last year (P.L. 110-140). The original intent of the Section 136 loan program was to help the auto industry retool to produce more fuel-efficient cars. To date, not one of the auto companies has utilized any of this funding. I do not want to see the American automobile industry fail, but equally, I do not want to see taxpayer dollars put at risk in an investment that is at best risky. Florida families deserve to know that their hard-earned money will not be squandered. I will be working with all of my colleagues in the coming days to ensure that any plan Congress considers is in keeping with the best interest of taxpayers.|::::|This is interesting. Thanks for sharing!|::::|you can t trust them letters, there generic and fake, what they say is not what they want to say|::::|It appears that the auto makers do not want a loan, they want a bailout. Let s face it if they can get our grandkids to pay they are better off.|::::|I ll bring it along to read when I m on vacation for a few weeks.|::::|I salute him in not wanting to use TARP and Section 136 funds for the automakers and I salute him in wanting what is in the best interests fo the taxpayers. And I get the impression that he is thinking of all taxpayers, not just those in Florida and/or Michigan. I cannot see how the big 3 can pull themselves out of the hole that they have dug for themselves with 15 billion of our hard earned dollars without restructuring both manufacture and current wage/benefit programs. That money would not last a single quarter and it is going to take a lot more than one quarter for the changes needed to show effect. I find it interesting and sad that, to date, the auto industry has not utilized any of the money set aside to help retool.|::::|There s a new Civil War going on when it comes to automaking in America. Japanese, Korean, and German automakers are now building 18 auto assembly plants in the United States, none of which is unionized. Kentucky (Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell) already has Toyota s biggest auto assembly plant outside Japan. Tennessee (Senate Rep. Bob Corker, who came up with the quot;chapter 11quot; bailout amendment) houses Nissan s North American headquarters. Alabama (Senate Rep. Richard Shelby) hosts Mercedez Benz and several other foreign automakers. So there s no reason to suppose the good citizens of Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama are particularly excited at the prospect of handing over their taxpayer money to competing firms and their workforces. Besides, southern Republican are not particularly enamoured with the UAW, which has steadfastly bankrolled Democrats who have taken on Republicans. (The new Congress will have at least six new Democrats from formerly Republican districts, all of whom received at least $40K from the UAW.) Corker s compromise -- which would force the UAW to match the wages of foreign, mostly non-unionized autoworkers in the South -- would essentially make the UAW irrelevant. Why have a union if you can get the same deal without one? But Republicans also know that the Big Three and their suppliers are spread out over the battle-ground states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Minnesota. Republicans don t dare give up these states or alienate their citizens. So here s where compromise comes in. The dirty little secret is that, bailout or no bailout, the Big Three will have to lay off thousands of workers over the next few years, as the foreign non-union automakers take market share away from them Good ole Mel is mighty close to these states and I m sure he s getting some quot;feedbackquot; from his fellow Southerners. The TARP funds were for banks....to make loans.....they should loan the money to the automakers. Alas, foreign competition in our capitalist market is ever stronger and showing no signs of weakening.

next year, i will be able to go to jeddah but i dont know what to expect..i am not looking forward to living on a compound, or not being able to do normal things, he says life is great there, he earns very very god money but hes a man! am i making stress for myself when i shouldnt! What does ksa require of me or is it all quite straight forward|::::|I am an Arab, I live near KSA, but i am not from it! i know some things about it. For foreign people in KSA there is a special place where they can live as not to have scarf over women s heads, and places to sell alcohol, etc.. but that s like a compound as you have said, They are following Islamic rules there very strictly! you have to take this into consideration. But generally making money there is a huge advantage, If you want my advise, get married to him, go live there for sometime, and try convincing him to move to another country in some time, make some good money first! making money in any place in the world is really hard specially these days.. You are a second class citizen the moment you leave the compound..a brood mare who pumps out kids, should be hidden, who can t great men, sit with men at a restaurant, say quot;hiquot; to a man, get a job (at least one that pays any money) etc.

How much money a label earns? -

Can u guys please tell me how much money a record label earns per album after ALL the expenses ?|::::|Recording album: $10 Paying the Producers: $15 Photo shoots: $5 Promotional gear(t-shirts, free cd’s, flyers, posters, etc.):$ 20 Promo Tour: $20 Radio: $30 And that’s all before they make one dime, so the money depends highly of off that as well. So used the $100 dollars to keep it simple, but if need be use $100k|::::|The amount varies...Some albums cost more to produce...Some albums don t even sell enough to cover the cost of making it...Each album may have different contract agreements that determines your labels bottom line...|::::|That question is far too difficult to answer here... it depends on, well, everything. And if so, how? Thanks in advance.|::::|Nick, your agreement with Lulu is spelled out in your contract with them. I ve never paid to publish, so I m guessing here, but they probably pay you any royalties only once per quarter and only if they meet or pass a certain low amount, like five or ten dollars. Independent bookstores will be open to having you. If you can get distribution through Ingram or Bakeramp;Taylor then you ll be able to get into Borders and Bamp;N. When you call, ask for the manager and say quot;I m a local author and was calling to see if I could come in for an event.quot; By event you mean a signing or a reading. They ll be happy to have you in for a signing.|::::|One of the guys in my office says he s earning a very acceptable amount of money off the stuff he s posted on lulu. With a degree in marketing, what can I have as a career that will earn the most money? ? -

Do people who have marketing degrees usually make good money?|::::|There is no job security today. Every executive has been affected by the economy misfortune inside a 15 year cycle. On average, a job seeker would have taken 7 different careers before finally arriving only to see another economic downturn. Companies are being restructured with many employees losing their jobs. So, start getting out of the rat race. Learn about financial literacy. (Wikipedia) quot;A rat race is a term used for an endless, self-defeating or pointless pursuit. It conjures up the image of the futile efforts of a lab rat trying to escape whilst running around a maze or in a wheel. In an analogy to the modern city, many rats in a single maze run around making a lot of noise bumping into each other, but ultimately achieve nothing (meaningful) either collectively or individually. Escaping the rat race can have a number of different meanings: -A description of the movement, of either the Home or Work Location, of previously City Dwellers or Workers to more rural locations, possibly beyond the quot;urban growth boundaryquot;. -Retirement in general or no longer needing / having to work. -Moving from a high pressure job to a less intense role either at a different company or within the same company at an alternative location or department. -Changing to a different job that does not involve working 9 to 5 and a long commute. -Working from home. -Becoming financially independent from an employer. -Becoming a hobo or hippie. -Graduating from an academic institution, see College or University. -Simple living or Voluntary Simplicity. quot; As a company president, I am in the process of coming to the end of the task of carrying buckets. I will be resigned from my job in December. After working for ten years in the business of building construction, some things must change in the way I look at life. We are working more and more for less and less. Can anyone relate to this? Consider the industry recommended by Robert Kiyosaki and Robert Allen, both being reknowed authors of wealth creating and investment. One advice is why work on something you cannot own . Work on a business. See youtube posting of the Best Business by Robert Kiyosaki and Multiple Streams of Income by Robert Allen. Both Roberts never have to depend on a job after they graduated .|::::|While the other comments so far have been pretty useless, they aren t entirely wrong (except the crap about prostitutes). A marketing degree alone isn t worth as much as you d like, but it can get your foot in the door on the ground level. Marketing is about experience. I don t know if you ve already got the degree, but most programs have large assignments and projects, such as a full out mock marketing plan. Having samples of these to show potential employers can be a real plus. Also, join AMA. This is a good networking tool and something to put on the resume.|::::|Very few people even work in the fields their degrees are from. My friend has a marketing degree from a good university and he works in insurance now. go figure. Study what you love, you ll work for 50 years and believe me the love of money will run out before your passion does.|::::|hate to be the one to break it to ya, but a degree in marketing means hard to get a career that will quot;earn the most moneyquot;. Harvest moon wii magical melody help? -

I am new on this game and I was wondering how I could earn more money because I dont know what to ship. Oh yeah and what do i click when I am trying to ship stuff?|::::|Plant lots of crops, because they are pretty cheap. Also, forage every day (go to the mountain and pick the things off of the ground) and going to the mines is a really good way to make money, but you have to have a hammer. In the mines, you smash the big, blue crystal looking things and they will give you ores. Rare ores are worth a lot, as are gold ores. Then there are silver and copper, that are also worth some good money. The deeper you go, the better things you will get (like Amethyst) but make sure you don t run out of stamina. Also, fishing is a pretty good way to make money. You make more money fishing if you catch a fish and grill it (you should have a match set in your toolbox), then ship it. To ship, you take out the item you want to ship and press A in front of the shipping box (outside of your house). Hope I helped!!

What do you think about long distance realtionship? -

My girlfriend lives VEEEEEERY far bur we love each other and soon I am going to her, personally, yes it is true love, we even plan to marry when we are together, while going out with hear REALLY CUTE girls have tried to take on me but having my girlfriend in my mind seeing other girls really to me is like see a man there is no attraction at all, not even the normal physicall attraction it should be felt even when you are with your pair, our love is real, if she were in a real problem with capital P I would sell my things to earn the money to go to her and rescue her at instant, I would intercept a bullet at her and she feels the same for me, what do you think about it, because I think distance relationship worth the effort when there is true love, a love so great that it surpasses the physical aspects|::::|i dont care for long distance.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...|::::|if you love her, then you stick to her. she must mean alot to you and if, as you said, she feels the same way you do, then you must stick to your beliefs and stay with her. HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY ESSAY? -

The Truth About Private Schools, Demoralization, and Modern-Day Conspicuous Consumption Looking around at Marylawn and similar institutions, one will notice a vast population of unhappy children, the products of brainwashed parents who needlessly throw their money away on an “education”. How educated can these children get if their parents raise them to think that private schools are “the best” way to go and that those commoners who attend public school will be so much worse off. This is a lie perpetuated by private schools themselves in order to secure much needed (but undeserved) funds. Parents from every income level pay their hard-earned money to give their children something that they can get anywhere because private schools are supposed to have a better and more moral social environment, supposed to be safer, supposed to make the students smarter... What a crock! Private schools are bad for the soul. They are corrupt. They are total waste of money. Why send your children to a private school when they can get an equal, or even better, education at a public school? The people who are lured into registering their children for a school like Marylawn are enticed by glittering generalities and empty words. If there really were something special to be gained from attending a private school, what does that say about school systems and the world in general? Is there some secret key to learning to be picked up at Marylawn, of all places? If there is, then that is a shame because knowledge should be freely available to everyone, not hoarded and only given to those who can afford to be a part of this elite club of private school kids. Attending private school does not give a person anything, except maybe a feeling of being privileged. The only thing private school provides is a topic of conversation when, somewhere down the road, you meet others who have been as “fortunate” as you were to go to a “great” private school. As Marylawn has been the example so far, the practices of this school that teaches “Catholic” values will now be highlighted: cheating people out of their money and discrimination against certain students on the part of the teachers. Not to mention the conflicts between the teachers themselves: bad politics and backbiting to stay on top. And THEN we are forced to pray every morning. I think that is the epitome of hypocrisy: a place where the values of Jesus are the regular mantra, yet one can often run into the antichrist in the school on any given day. Catholic schools nowadays are still on the same wavelength with pre-Reformation Catholic institutions where corruption was rampant and the na?ve believers were the victims. Why should people be forced to do things like attend church sessions of a religion that they do not even identify with and apply the principles of the Holy Bible to their own lives when they are not Christians and take sexual education classes taught by nuns? As stated on the school website, “The mission of Marylawn of the Oranges Academy is to prepare, motivate, and challenge young women, intellectually and morally, to assume their roles in society according to Catholic tradition and in the founding spirit of the Sisters of Charity of New Jersey.” Does Marylawn actually do this? The consensus of the unlucky students is a resounding NO! Private schools do nothing for the children that go there except fill their heads with antiquated ideas and cause them to get less Christmas presents because their parents had to spend an excessive amount of money on school fees. Now seems like an ideal time to mention the only thing one thing that Marylawn has going for it: the tuition is pocket change compared some other local schools like Newark Academy or Oak Knoll, where all expenses for the academic school year amount to about $30,000! It only makes sense that a price like that should come with room and board and health care. All this goes to show that private schools should be abolished. There is absolutely no need for them; they’re comparable to laundromats in a nudist colony – superfluous. Marylawn is no better than public schools. The students still cheat on exams, cut class, argue, curse at teachers, and start physical altercations. This proves that these students are not made of a better quality of moral fiber than their public school counterparts. The average SAT for the graduating class is lower than the local public high school, Columbia. Someone should come and nail a modern day parallel to Martin Luther’s 95 Theses to Marylawn’s doors. In conclusion, private schools are not what people think they are. They are supposed to have a better social environment, to be safer, and to make the students smarter. Do they really do that? As stated, parents pour money into these schools, and they are not very effective. Private schools claim that public schools are a scandal. However, who REALLY is the scandal?|::::|Don t improve! This was fantastic! Good Job. I liked how u put your point of view in this it really makes stand out.
