I have an english boyfriend who has lived and worked in jeddah ksa for 15 years, we are getting married ? -
next year, i will be able to go to jeddah but i dont know what to expect..i am not looking forward to living on a compound, or not being able to do normal things, he says life is great there, he earns very very god money but hes a man! am i making stress for myself when i shouldnt! What does ksa require of me or is it all quite straight forward|::::|I am an Arab, I live near KSA, but i am not from it! i know some things about it. For foreign people in KSA there is a special place where they can live as not to have scarf over women s heads, and places to sell alcohol, etc.. but that s like a compound as you have said, They are following Islamic rules there very strictly! you have to take this into consideration. But generally making money there is a huge advantage, If you want my advise, get married to him, go live there for sometime, and try convincing him to move to another country in some time, make some good money first! making money in any place in the world is really hard specially these days.. Take this into consideration! Good Luck..|::::|It s a lot easier for men. While on the compound you can live almost like a typical westerner and the company your husband (soon to be) works for will usually offer good benefits (money, health care etc.) for his family. However, living on a compound sucks butt nuggets (IMO) unless you are a person who generally is a home body and doesn t like to get out. That is where the problems arise for women. You are a second class citizen the moment you leave the compound..a brood mare who pumps out kids, should be hidden, who can t great men, sit with men at a restaurant, say quot;hiquot; to a man, get a job (at least one that pays any money) etc.
