Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility: Help? -

I just bought Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility for Wii. I m having a hard time figuring out where to start, and I have a lot of questions. Okay, I might start over, since I did not really know what I was doing. Anyway, the game area is really big, and I want to know what I should do to adjust to that. I also want to know what I should do the first couple of days, and I want to know how to get started. How many crops should I grow, which kinds, and in which days? What should I purchase, and who should I talk to? What are the main things I should do to try and earn money? How much money should I have before going and purchasing crops? Should I wait until the end of spring or actually start in spring? Anything else I should seek to accomplish in the first few days? Any information given will be appreciated. Thanks! Have a fabulous day.|::::|The beauty of the Harvest Moon games definitely lies in that there really is no right or wrong way to play them. It s completely dependent upon your preferences. That said, you should think about whether you want to focus on the social aspects or the farming/ranching side of the game more. Either way, you can start off by planting the seeds given to you after your home-stay at the Souffle Farm. Till a 1x6 row in your field. If you can find a row with mostly good soil (slightly darker soil) that s great as it will be more likely to yield higher quality crops, but it isn t necessary and your potato seeds will grow just as fast in poor soil as good. Plant and water them. Avoid planting in a row where you ll have to pull weeds to till, as that ll waste more of your already low stamina. After that, you will probably not have much energy left to do more work. Go explore and meet people! Visit as many of the shops in Waffle Town as you can. If you want, you can work part time in the shops for extra cash which is very helpful in the beginning. I recommend On the Hook or the Sundae Inn, both of which can earn you about 100g give or take depending on how early you start working. Keep up with your crops over the next few days, and buy more potato seeds as soon as you can. In the first week, you should be able to have met most of the initial villagers (don t forget to go up to Ramsey s Blacksmith and Dale s carpentry, they are to the right of Souffle Farm and close to Prailine forest which often has many forageable items for you.) Find some time in that first season to go into Waffle square and inspect the tree there. Equip your watering can and check the flower underneath the tree to begin your epic task of restoring rainbows and the harvest goddess. The earlier the better, though you may need to activate some cutscenes with the mayor Hamilton before hand. This is important simply because completing the first rainbow brings several new villagers to Waffle Island, and they only come on the 1st and 15th of each season. So start soon! Other than all that, enjoy it. Go fishing once you get a rod from Toby, forage, and work towards saving up for a cow. They are expensive but will be a very vauable animal to have. Best of luck amp; happy farming!|::::|the area is really big but you pretty much get it memorized by fall.it gets easier if you travel all around town as often as possoible.once you finish working at souffle farm they give you some potato seeds to start with.plant those by making a ROW of six spaces and plant them.i tried using the 3x3 thing like most harvest moon games and only got one planted so e careful with that. you should buy most of your seeds at souffle farm and if you want to make money without growing crops work part time at any store. you only get like 150g or so so it may take time to make money that way.it is always best to plant at the beggining of the season in my oppinion especially if the crop takes a long time to grow. in your spare time go around and find new places and meet new people and try to get the bachelor/bachelorette to like you.if you still have nothing to do try making your tools stronger by using them alot.that s all i can really say so hope it helps and good luck.
