I am an engineer and bored of this job. I would like to call it quits and want to spend life at my home town? -
I have saved a little money and travelled to a few parts of the world but I find an eternal peace only when I reach my hometown for vacations. Can I have that eternal peace forever along with money earning opportunities at my hometown which is a very small place?|::::|You can work online. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy anything unless you are sure enough. People will try to sell you something or the other. I work part time at Devduff.com. Its an Indian company. They are a quality oriented company and they give you small projects to do which you can do at weekends. Its upto you how much you can work and how much you wish to earn. They have contacts with leading Newspaper agencies and Magazine companies and they pay you for writing essays and articles. I have been with them since a long time and they pay on time. Try them, they don t charge anything for joining them at their site. When you join them, they will give you a call to discuss details.|::::|unfortunately, if youre an engineer you have to follow industry-- its the only way you can work your way up and maybe be a plant manager. Industry congregates in larger cities. My boyfriend is a mechanical engineer with an emphasis on hydraulics. He lived in RURAL michigan and was without a job for 8 months before being offered one here in Georgia. He moved down and the company paid for a BUNCH more training for him. Then, he was picked up by a company in south carolina who offered him 50% more per year than the place in Georgia. Both quot;citiesquot; are under 100K people-- so theyre not huge like atlanta or anything, but theyre not rural amish michigan either. Unfortunately, its the nature of the beast with that kind of a job-- you have to be where the people and the manufacturing are. Also, expect to move every 2-3 years, theres very little job security with engineers-- so always keep looking for a new, better job, even if youre very happy with the one youve got. And in this economy, you should just be happy you HAVE a job.|::::|I think with the worlds bad economy you should be thankful and keep your job. Maybe the inner peace that your searching for, is there inside of your heart, but when you reach your hometown its the only place your able to find it. Maybe try a religion or try reaching that spot of peace when you wake up in the morning. Wake up and be thankful you have a job and a roof over you head ( i am guessing). Im sure that there was some reason you became an engineer.|::::|if your are an engineer then you should do any kind of engineering job like designing because your parents have some expectations from you so please don t waste it instead of wasting your time in soending your quality time with dating and all it is quite stupidity because some of them who are liked to study are unable to study but are offered with the good study and all sort of facilities so don t spare your time go to your town once in a year and spend one month or two months in a year otherwise just do your job and help other colleges too explore your knowledge and be frank to do help|::::|i am pleased to share my thoughts with you. i just wonder if other men think the way you do. i love to share these things with you as this is what i love to talk about, life and its sense. you know what, life is a constant change. we may find happiness in one thing and find it over another. but what we supposed to do is to find the eternal happiness as you ve said. actually it doest depend on the place you ve been in, the money you ve earned, even the people you are with today, it all depends on the grace that God is giving you. it is just through Him that you can rest peacefully no matter where you are and no matter how tiresome your day is. ask Him to come to your heart and let Him be your Savior and surely, He will let you experience things like you ve never felt them before. Trust Him to handle your life and surely you ll receive the grace of contentment and happiness you ve been looking for all your life! remember: quot;Call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things that thou knowest notquot; Jeremiah 33:3|::::|hi there when one works travel a lot of places and goes back home its a tendency or u can say a human nature that he gets peace and loves the place. though one spends a very less time and comes back to the place u work u feel that u need to run away from the hazzel bazzel and go back to that same place ur hometown. but this is a temporary phase u ll will understand and feel the same when u ll spend a lot of time or as u are planning switching over to ur home town because when u say there are less opportunities and when u ll be back there see ur ex colleagues or friends being in the place u left flourishing u ll too will have a feeling of going back and then u have to start all over by again taht will be very difficult. just think over ur decision god bless|::::|My friend ur condition is same as mine. I guess ur also single as i am. My only sugesstion is that get married or make a good friend (good if make a GF) or like me create a group of good friends and then do lots of masti like movies, parties, picnics and soo on enjoy the life not just become home sickness plp|::::|yes one of the greatest philosophers did so living a very nice life. money is not salvation nor peace. peace is already in you, be it in a small town or a large it shall follow you where you go. Only you can unlock it. If you truly think it is at your home town then it is.|::::|That is possible if you believe to yourself and if you could think of a business that could be your source of income by the time you ve decided to settle down in your hometown. For now, conduct a little research in your hometown about possible business you could start to help your community to improve. Good luck!|::::|You have a two part question here. 1. Don t work at a job that you don t like. Find another job that you like. (keep your old job until you find a new one) 2. You can find peace in your hometown. There just might not be money there.|::::|If you re determined to live there, then yes, but you may not get a lot of opportunity to exercise your engineering skills, unless you work online. But be careful. Spending too much time back there may ruin if for you.|::::|Explore the possibility of business opportunity available in your home town which can give you both peace of mind and supportive income.|::::|If you are bored at least you are not as stressed as Jack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSFr01uAP... Merry Christmas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N388Jwxao...|::::|You know, you would probobly get more answers if you put this question into a catergory that related to the topic. Right now your in singles and dating|::::|Do research. life is so short, do what makes u happy. good luck.
