Feeling lonely in my office!? -

May be its weird, but am with this company for 1 year. Initially it wasn t much worse because my primary aim was to earn money and not complain. But now I feel trapped, with no other job offers. Honestly no one of my age around except for one hispanic girl who seems to ignore me for whatever reasons she might have. (I get to say hi only during lunch breaks and only when we happen to be near the microwave at the same time). Everyone else is married, have their own talks, know each other well, have fun, laugh except for me. I know days when I have not spoken a single word except for a hi-bye thing. HELP!|::::|Wow, you are blessed without having to talk to others. Man, I have the same situation at times and god bless the silence. Honestly, if you would like to talk to people (and people older than you are just lazy and sometimes wont come up you and when they do that is just plain scary) go up to them and start being warm and talkative. I turned a very tense set of people quite jocular when I made my presence and started joking and what not. You gotta be a friend or out-going to get other people going.|::::|people are never happy. you should be glad you dont have to talk to them and they dont mind. you are lucky. and your getting paid. I bet you they dont have any bad feelings towards you. do you live at work. what you need to do, is be thankfull that you can work quietly with your friends (or collegues) and get you work done. even if you re sewing buttons on an assembly line. go home, stretch and look up at the ceiling. make it count its up to you.|::::|this sounds like you are complaining....Lol....so hows the money working out for you? Next time remember it is not all about the money!
