Why do I feel so jealous at my boyfriend being better than me and what can I do? -

I really love him, but I can t help feeling that way. If he earns more money, if he gets a better job, if he s with another girl. It makes me feel so jealous, but I don t like feeling that way.|::::|I know this isn t the best answer because I don t know what to tell you. I have the same problem. My boyfriend is more fit than I am and he s a musician. I think his face is more attractive too. I almost don t want him to become a successful musician because I know I would lose him. But right now I make more money than him. I just figure we were friends first so the time with him will not be wasted. But it is frustrating because I m always on a diet and try to look attractive for him, but I just have this awful feeling that things aren t going to work out because I m just not good enough for him. He won karate champions, he was richer, people liked him, etc. But just tell yourself that nobody is ever quot;betterquot; than anybody else in this world. They may be better at something but that doesn t make them better. It s funny because we all are unique in our own ways and nobody can be born the same person as somebody else, but in the end we are all the same equal beings. Everyone deserves the love and respect. In a relationship, both people amount the same, like a seesaw or scale...he gets a say in it and so do you, you both need to put in the same effort, and you both need to care/love about each other or else one will feel less loved and the other will feel suffocated. This answer came out kind of dramatic :p|::::|It s human nature. My girlfriend is smarter than me, and I get jealous a lot. Just shrug it off; in all honesty, you might not be able to be better. I know that I can t improve my intelligence, so I let it go.|::::|You just need to talk to him about it and try to get over it. It ll be hard and take time, but just think. He might be jealous when you spend time with another guy, or do things better than him.|::::|I think a better question would be why are you with someone who fills you with resentment towards yourself?
