How many of you truly feel blessed/lucky this holiday season? -

Regardless of money and all the other stresses that come along with the season. How many of you can honestly say you are blessed more then you could ever hope for? I have 2 kids that relie solely on me for everything. We are up and creek with no paddle financially. I go to work everyday and earn my money but its basically gone before we get it. There is no money for extras I can not buy a single present for either one of my children this year. Its sad and it breaks my heart that I can t do that for them. HOWEVER, my friend s and family and even a few of our neighbor s (we live in a very tight-nit little neighborhood) know the situation and have come together and made this probably one of the most amazing Christmas my kids will ever have! My children are both happy and healthy and smart and active, and sweet and charming. My family really cares about us, my employers are awesome and allow me time to take care of my family whenever needed. I have great friends who will bend over backwards to help us out and don t expect anything in return. I am Truly blessed!|::::|I am truly blessed, not much money but enough to get by. and a great extended family. we will have about 30 people here this coming sunday for our family Christmas. we always enjoy each others company. this is my mom and dad, brother, sister, and me, our kids and their kids. It s Great! Merry Christmas, or Happy Holiday to all!|::::|im happy for you...you seem like a very sweet person with a very warm spirit...being the person you are makes people want to help you...im over here in Houston and i wish i could do something to help....i m blessed i will say...and you are too .....to have family and friends to help you.....(?)|::::|I have a fiance` that I love more than anything, a family that Loves me (besides my dad and his quot;new famquot;), i have made great friends away at college, and my two best friends just had a baby that is my godson. I couldn t have asked for any more.|::::|That is very nice. Temporary financial woes are not a big deal when you have such a great family situation.I feel greatful for the things I have done in the past year, so yes.|::::|You ARE truly blessed, as are your children to have such a good mom as you. I am blessed to have found peace in my life. Happy holidays.|::::|I too am ridin in the same boat wit no paddle in the same darn creek. I do not feel blessed at all. I am blessed to have my child but at the same time feel like I do not deserve him because I can t even afford to give him wut he needs (not speakin bout xmas, he s only 1 n 1/2 n dk the difference between a big one or small) but he desevers to have a steady roof over his head, meanwhile I am strugglin month to month to make sure that happens. It s a sad day for us lately.|::::|I feel blessed. I have little money, but I have God, my family, and my friends. I get so mad at people who are whiny because they don t have money. I went to school with Natalee Holloway (the girl who was kidnapped and most likely murdered in Aruba)-it s been 3 years; I bet her mother would give every cent she had to have a no money Christmas with her daughter. Earlier this year, my younger sister s sorority sister s were both killed in an awful car wreck. I bet those family s would trade places with people who had no money but had their children any day. I feel blessed as long as my family is here.
