Earning money with PHP? -

Okay, so here it is. I m very strong with PHP. I m confident with it, I can smoothly write a dynamic site, CMS, or anything. The problem is, I m not strong on the other side - the graphic design/layout of a website. So I was thinking, why not make money by having people send me over a plain HTML/CSS with specifications of what they want and I will make it into a dynamic CMS with a nice admin panel with whatever features they require. The only question is, how do I get the customers? Any ideas where I can advertise such services? If anyone is in the similar area, could they give any tips? Any guidance is appreciated.|::::|1)Get a hosted domain name like yourname.com and setup a portfolio. Make it your business. OR 2) Write a simple CMS script and sell it for 15$ Either way, sites like hotscripts.com will be good places to get customers.|::::|Your best bet would be to partner with freelance frontend/graphics design people who need a programmer to develop the interactive pieces of their sites. When I was doing the freelance thing, a large bulk of my work came from such arrangements, doing everything from contact forms to shopping carts to membership systems. They created the page, I made it do stuff. I developed a lot of these relationships going through postings on Craigslist all over, many designers don t really care if you re local to them or not. Best of luck with it.|::::|I am in a very similar boat, except I am selling web space, and I have just created my php ordering form today. Well I am targeting a specific group of people who are looking for a cheap webhost, so you should figure out who your aiming to sell your product to, then how much and how much time will it take, this is also important then there is the advertising, if you have set up your website who not consider advertising with google or bidvertiser.com let the world know what you are offering them. This is very important to your future success! Good luck and if you ever have any spare time and you wouldn t mind answering a few php questions please email me through my yahoo answers profile ;) Best of luck Leito
