Can anyome give me some suggestions for a new career? -

I am 28 and fed up with the way my career is going. I have travelled a lot and had a good life but I am bored of working 9-5 in an office (finance) now. I earn good money so to start another trade I would have to take a big pay cut. I want a job that offers something meaningful or that is just more interesting. Finance is so bland and dull - you are not helping anyone except for rich people to get richer. It is such a soulless, depressing job but I feel trapped and unable to move away from it, unable to think of any other career path that I can take. I have no money to start a business. Yeah, she s works mainly in an office but she also gets to go on a lot of paid vacations to do hotel inspections, tours, etc. She s gone to Morocco, Peru, England and so many other places.|::::|i am a bit older than you but had this same situation come up over 2 years ago. after weeks of wondering i decided to train as a bus driver ( sounds crap) and it turned out to be a great decision. it took me a month to train and pass my test all paid for by the bus company. then i done a bit of route learning and was out on my own. it really is good fun, i work with a great bunch of people, working different times of the day and night you really see whats going on around your town. the only downside i can find is you need to do a bit of overtime to get a good wage. dont dismiss it without finding out about it you may be very suprised. good luck with what ever you choose|::::|Im a Quantity surveyor. Nothing is the same in this trade it is unusual and very fun! at the same time very interesting, you are the one that dictates the cost of a building, you visit sites, monitor how building work is going on. i can imagine it being boring for housing but if you work for a sub-contractor like i do that do huge jobs, from schools, to leisure centres it is pretty cool! x|::::|http://www.peacecorps.gov/index.cfm?shel...
