My mom claims iamp;#39;m lying to her and being selfish? (christmas question)? -

So my mother asked me what I d like for christmas and I had told her nothing, My mother got frustrated and told me to stop being difficult and I said this quot;I m sorry mom but you just got a huge raise and you finally have the money to buy yourself something nice, and I don t want you to waste all your hard earned money on a child.quot; (I m 15). Then she yelled at me and told me if I didn t make a list I would be grounded and that I was being selfish and lying to her and just trying to make myself sound like a great person... so then I told her fine I want a sock monkey. She yelled again saying already have one, and i said i wanted to collect the (I don t) And she made me feel really bad because she grounded me and called me a brat and she is now out shopping for me with out a list. Then she calls me and asked just now what I wanted and I had told her I wanted a summer trip to mexico ( since I m in arizona) to help build houses for the needy and she was saying it was a program and she would get it for my birthday and that it was hardly any money and that I need to stop being selfish... anyway, so sorry for rambling but how do you think i m acting?|::::|I think your mother is just trying to get you something special because she got a raise and can now possibly afford nicer things. Humor her it will make her happy! You are not acting like a brat your a very considerate person, don t be upset go with the flow and let mom have her moment it will do more for her then you can imagine. Have a great Christmas|::::|It s annoying when you ask people what they want, and they say nothing, when they blatently do want something and would be hurt if you didn t get them anything. All my friends do this and it s like, just tell me what you want- stop being difficult!! You should have just told her, like any other normal girl your age... Also, a sock monkey!?!?!|::::|you are not being selfish but your mom just wants to make christmas nice for you ask for a gift card for a restraunt then after christmas go buy her dinner|::::|I think your mom has issues.
