How Many of you are Hungry for Knowledge ? what are benefits of acquiring Knowledge ? -

friends i always want to acquire knowledge as much i can,i always remain hungry for it,now i am doing Philosophy Hon 1 year student i had books on astronomy, religion and philosophy, biographies what are benefits of geting so much knowledge,we had also to do something to Earn MONEY For our lives, what are benefits of knowledge ? how many of you are like me and want to know everything as much you can ? dont you think knowledge is waste if we not do anything proper to earn money|::::|I also have a hunger for knowledge which is one of the reasons I joined this forum, also to use the knowledge I ve accumulated over the past 66 years to benefit others. I love the proverb from the bible quot;Give instruction to a wise man and he will be yet wiserquot;.|::::|Knowledge is the key to creating a blissful state of contentment, which can be used to unravel the mystery, surrounding human nature, it can release us from the tenacious power of ignorance, enabling us to reach the pinnacle of our creative potential. A true voracious appetite for knowledge will always lead one to optimally utilise opportunities, because it trains the mind to be wise and astute in its application to a myriad of realities. Knowledge is like money it is an investment of the soul, that will eventually expand your internal balance far greater than anything that a bank can give you. The methodical pursuance of cumulative knowledge will always bless one with all the resources, and riches that one needs to live a fruitfully productive life. It is true, money can by many physical freedoms, but it can not buy liberation of the heart, which is only attained through assiduous, diligent effort to procure illuminated enlightenment. Knowledge=wisdom=understanding=LIFE.|::::|It is this hunger for knowledge and it’s pillaging creating an entire industry based upon a false premise. Many books and seminars are given for ardent truth seekers searching for peace and release from the contradictory confusion and complexity of life. The wisdom of ancient scriptures is taken without accreditation, hence the lucrative media truth market with none gaining the required and promised kingdom of heaven, whilst the cats make fat earnings and lavish careers from feeding and profiting from a people need for enlightenment, and the path to liberty and love is brings. The churches standing dwindles and fals into defamation . God hasn’t made any public appearances, Eden has yet to be created, and following many millennia man remains but in need and want, itself feeding the vicious cycle of supply and demand...|::::|Yes,it is paradoxical.I am always thirsty for knowledge, yet I know that ultimately the accumulation of knowledge is vain in my search for the Truth.Human knowledge provide us with a better understanding of the universe around us,but via our senses and therefore within human boundaries to understand it.So,yes it is definitely a waste of time ultimately. But it also allows to ask more questions by which we hope to progress...|::::|Hunger for knowledge means trying to answer pending questions or developed ones. i really like to know especially what interest me most. I do not generalize, but its not a bad thing to generalize, though specific knowledge will help you earn more money as you will have in-depth knowledge of the subject. I most of the time have so many unanswered questions and mesmerizing issues that lead me to seek for the answers. Thanks fro asking dear|::::|I was just like you, i couldn t get enough information about the world around me and beyond. This was when i was younger and in middle school. I went to the school library EVERY recess and took out books on everything about anything! My teachers were really impressed with me. But then i started learniung stuff that i didn t want to know and i just wished i could forget because it was making my life seem so insignificant! It made me so depressed that i went to therapry for months. It s true that ignorance is bliss...But it s sad that i ve learned that at such a young age isn t it?|::::|You know more things. That means you can solve more problems and are confused less.|::::|when you start learning for something with much more meaning than money then maybe you ll know.|::::|love is greater than knowledge.|::::|the only knowledge i am interested in is the truth, that which is not untrue|::::|knowledge and wisdom are two different things, the Gnostic s in Jesus day were about knowledge and secrets,The way to gain knowledge is to read and study from various sources; this however does not necessarily mean you will become wise. Wisdom on the other hand is given by God, and as I have said before a wise person may not be knowledgeable--he just know where to go to find knowledge-IE the library.|::::|A great questions, but alas, so little time! I think the greatest consolation the mind come with high knowledge, a higher viewpoint, whereby to know the reality of all things, the reality of sorrow as well as of happiness. I think knowledge enables us to know things, but this is all too simplistic a deduction, as knowledge also enables us to know relation among things. When we know things of our world we know ourselves - the world within and the world without. Without this knowledge, we e would not have any sense of. Without a proper knowledge of our world, and therefore a knowledge of ourselves, we would not know our any good purpose in life. This is sufficient to say that knowledge is what I know about things, but also about relations between things, the value of each thing in relation. I know what something is as I know what it is not, and I know what is the use of something as I know what purpose I have in my mind. I therefore know myself in relation to the things of my world, and also myself. My knowledge first and foremost informs my of my own existence, my presence in the world, my form and attributes, and then by this reason, the existence, the forms, characteristics and merits of all things. I believe that knowledge is the reflection of luminous human mind the light of which when falls upon things of the world illuminates them and define them in much finer details, just the way physical light defines colours, lines, angles and curvatures of things. And just as light casts shadows and causes glints and sparkles our knowledge of a mere physical world cause us to think fantastically, idealistically and metaphysically. And this is the point where we transcend in our knowledge beyond the bounds and confines of material knowledge to reach out to higher realities that our mind in the ultimate remains suggestive of. There for instance is nothing like an angel or a fairy in a realistic world but in the knowledge exclusive to human mind all things exist as if they were a better alternative world. We therefore always know more than we know that we know, as for instance, when I look at a tree in springtime I try to investigate the details of its blossom to maximise my sense of natural appreciation, but however I may try, I cannot reach to the fullest of my knowledge through verbal descriptions. I think I know that a tree is a tree because of the over all impression I have of a tree and also of its season and that season among the rest of season of the year to reach my normal sense of appreciation. All things are deeper impression within that we can ever become fully aware of but of ourselves in a certain comfort of vagueness. I think I know all the things of my world, the world, as myself, not only as knowledge, but also as awareness.
