How much money do people who work at nursing homes earn per hour? -

It depends on the position that you hold. I know someone who was a nursing manager and she was pulling $60,000/year. If you are an RN, you would make a decent amount but nursing homes unfortunately are holding places for people who are going to die, and they generally don t care about their patients the way they should. They tend to hire CNA s who may not provide the best care, partly in my opinion because of such low pay. Good luck :)|::::|Depends on skill level and geography. In my area, Nurses Aides (CNAs) make just above minimum wage; LVNs might pull in $11-15/hour; RNs might pull in $16-18/hour. Usually a nursing home will have one RN (to lead amp; organize) and a lot of LVNs. It s a hard gig, working in nursing homes... not many want to do it. My mother did it basically out of the kindness of her heart (didn t have to, as my dad earned enough to pay for our living needs).|::::|Not much. It s generally pretty low-paid work.|::::|$9 to 11/hr
