Where is the strong Republican voice today? -
The American people want to hear a strong republican stand up for our values. Are they all destroyed by the news media before they can get established or it is that they don t exist anymore? We really need to do some things to get our economy going like lowering the taxes on businesses and I really liked allowing people to keep the money they earned without being taxed for two months.|::::|The Republican voice is TALK RADIO. I m not saying we would have WON the election - (because people of color - and people looking for a hand-out - would have voted OBAMA anyway)... but had we ran a GOOD CANDIDATE with GOOD REPUBLICAN VALUES... every REPUBLICAN would have voted. True Republicans were not energized by HO-HUM - CENTRIST - Get along with the other side... McCain... Didn t vote for someone they were LUKE WARM about. To hear the STRONG REPUBLICAN VOICE...listen to Sean Hannety.|::::|quot;I really liked allowing people to keep the money they earned without being taxed for two months.quot; Without direct taxation, the government has no choice but to borrow from the Federal Reserve to cover the appropriations, all of which is brand new money, and because the supply of money is increasing irrespective to the amount of goods and services in the economy, the value of your money will decrease, so even though it seems like you get to keep your money, you don t, because inflation is a form of tax. None of this makes any difference at all, because the Federal Reserve has created 7 trillion dollars of brand new money which they are using to quot;fixquot; the economy, so at this stage what s the point of having money at all, I d rather get paid in peanuts.|::::|There is no strong Republican voice . . the right wing talk shows and Fox entertainment news have polarized and narrowed the party so much that there is now no one left that has a wide appeal. They have dug themselves into a box of intolerant hatred. I recall a few years ago a moderate Republican who is now a US Senator and one of the most decent people I ve ever met .. but she was telling us that the Republican party had been taken over by the far right conservatives, that the platform they were following would not appeal to the majority of voters, and she predicted that this would happen to her party. She was right. Unfortunately it may only get worse . . which will be good for the Democratic party as the moderate Republicans will jump a sinking ship.|::::|Well it is Sunday morning. Where do you think Republicans chould be on a Sunday morning? :) Republicans need a plan to go forward, more then that they need to decide who they are. Are they going to keep the religious right in the leadership or the fiscal hawks? The two don t seem to mix well or like the other much. How will they make the GOP the big tent party again? What will become of the far-right racist crazies that dominate the party right now? How will they tone them down without being seen as weak? There is a lot of work to be done and the leadership seem to think it is the 90s and they can stay the same. 06 and 08 loses haven t seemed to teach them much so far. Look at what stanleys_2001 says, this is part of the problem. The AM talkers are all hype no substance, mostly slander and no facts aren t going to win elections at the state or federal level. Sorry it just won t happen.|::::|I m a conservative first, Republican second and speaking only for myself, I have taken the attitude of wait and see. Obama hasn t done anything yet, he s not in office until next month and so far he has been trying to hold on tight to the middle of the road. Soon he will tip his hand I am sure and reveal his true agenda. When most thinking and hardworking people have figured out he is nothing more or less than any other typical politician that will say or do anything to get elected, that is when people will realize they cannot simply sit back and do nothing while he serves his term. Hopefully, the Republican party will learn from its mistakes, regroup and come back strong. If they want to continue to be liberals and merely masquerade as Republicans, they can bid bye bye to ever being in power again.|::::|The strong Republican voices are calling themselves Independents these days. The Extreme Right hijacked the GOP, back in 99 and it doesn t look like Conservatives have a chance, or the inclination of taking it back. What s left is a bunch of closet queens with third grade worldviews. Reagan s Big Tent has become Bush s Big Closet. Their one asset is millions of voters who simply can t stand Democrats. And that will evaporate as soon as a real Conservative Party emerges. And why would lowering taxes on Businesses improve the Economy? Every time we ve done it before, we lost millions of good paying jobs. Or have you not been paying attention for the past 8 years?|::::|The Republicans are re-grouping. Its against the nature of the USA for any one party to be correct in all things. Its the check and balance built into our country by our fore fathers. You witnessed the outpouring of support for Palin, but the dead weight of McCain cost the Republicans the election. McCain was to liberal and crossed the party lines far to often. Obama never once crossed over the isle or even voted very often on substance. just voted present more than anything else so he could not be held accountable. A lesson Republicans need to learn. If Obama succeeds in half of what he wants, he will not be re elected in 4 years. A moron liberal independent will have a better chance than Obama.|::::|It s a wrap!! Until they do some serious reconstruction to the party they have no voice. No matter if Obama screws up worse than Bush did as most are hoping; it still won t be enough to get liberals to switch sides. The Republican party is well on their way to becoming a memory.|::::|Republicans have vanished- replaced by imperialist, corporatist, neocons. The party of Goldwater is dead...Look to Ron Paul for conservative values.... the others are lost|::::|The strong Republican voice is always around ..... you think the freaking USA media will destroy the GOP s resolve? Think again! It is Sunday AM and a lot of them are at church ............|::::|The SMART republicans are just waiting for the day nobama screws up in office, then the republicans will just take the whitehouse back. PALIN 2012!!!!!|::::|The Republicans have driven all the sane people out of their party. All they have left are people who sing quot;Barack the Magic *****.quot;|::::|Seems like half of America likes paying taxes and expanding government. Sad but true.|::::|Republicans are leaving the party in hugh numbers. At least the next 16 years will be democratic presidents.|::::|men like GWB and Dick Cheney kinda ruined the Republican credibility|::::|She is the Governor of Alaska right now but she will soon be POTUS.~|::::|It s at yesterday.|::::|Bush has driven them out of the party
