Ideas on how to get my money back? -

so my stepmom opened a custodial savings account with me when i was younger,and we never had the best relationship.now that i am 18 they say the only way to close it is with her permission.but she already stated she won t let me close it.my account has 4000 in it,all the money i earned at my job.i plan on using that along with my enlistment bonus from the military to enroll in college.how can i go about closing this account?she already threatened she won t close it,and i knew i probably won t ever see that money..thats why i had stopped putting money in there for over a year.my dads name isn t on the account,so he can t close it,and nor can i ask him to make her close it because she blows the poor me act,and my dad will feel sorry for her.|::::|Having someone else pose as your step-mom is fraud and you will be charged if caught. Since you are 18, can you withdraw the money without closing it? If not and if you cannot get your step-mom to co-operate then you will have to ask your father to help. Tell him you plan to use it for college.
