Can anyone tell me what is work-study? -

does it mean that you take a job on-campus as a way to pay for your college tuition and does it only apply to students who need financial aid? I wanted to get a job on-campus to earn some money, but I don t require financial aid, and the money I earn from the job isn t really for tuition.|::::|Work study programs are typically for students who require help with tuition. However the term can also apply to fields of study where the student is actually placed in a work environment of his/her choice to study the occupation of people in his chosen field and gain experience in that field.
