It s also important to remember that, money aside, a college graduate has many many more choices as to what their job will be. The high school grad may have to work their *** off for that $28 an hour, with no benefits or job security, doing something they hate. The college grad is more likely to love what they do, have plenty of benefits (insurance, etc), with more job security, doing a job that is really pretty easy.|::::|$28 an hour is VERY high for somebody with just a diploma from HS or a GED. My parents don t make that and they r pretty high up in their jobs. it is estimated that with a college degree the average person will make up to a million dollars more in their lifetime than if they just finish high-school and dont move on So I d go with the extra million, if I were you.
