Yes, but my husband also works, so it is strictly supplemental income. 3. two kids, two grandparents, my husband and me 4. teach English in Japan It s a great way to make a safety net, and for adventuresome singles, but not so great for a family head-of-the-household. Although, some English teachers in Japan get great perks like cheap housing ($30 a month is what I paid for my housing on my first job), and use of a townhall car.
