Iamp;#39;m looking for Income from a hobby? -
I am looking for a hobby and would like to do something where I could also earn some money from home. Does anyone have any suggestions?|::::|Making jewelry and selling it either on eBay or Etsy is very popular. You could also try painting if you are good with art. =]|::::|If you re in the US, stay away from any products (books, toys, clothes, furniture, etc.) suitable for children under age 12 until they get the CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) regs straightened out. Right now, there s mass confusion on what they actually mean for small producers, and the law has big sharp teeth in it. What sort of things do you enjoy doing? What expertise do you have? Sometimes the darndest things catch on... my husband s uncle used to braid decorative leather horse reins, and made very good money at it. Another friend makes protective boots for dogs engaging in sports like flyball. Another has all the business she wants repairing stained glass windows from late 19th/early 20th century houses.|::::|Have a look at www.etsy.com. See some of the good work that s on there and if any of that kind of stuff appeals to you - I don t mean copy anyone s creative works, just let them inspire you. If any of those crafts look like the kind of thing you d like to learn how to do, then that s a great start, and looking at the prices people charge on Etsy will let you get an idea for how much money you could make there.|::::|Photograph people s pets and sale them the photos. Offer to go to their home to take the photos or set up a quot;photo studioquot; in your own home. Sale them a disc with the photos on it so they can print out their own.|::::|u could maybe take photos of people and edit them, change the color 2 black and white it looks cool it might become a good hobbie u could also sell them 2 u could sell stuff on ebay 2. good luck|::::|knitting, crochet, making jewery, weaving, sewing, wood working.
