This is Urgent. Can Anyone Help Me? -
My father passed away recently and my mother works second shift, but because we don t have enough money she s thinking of taking on a second job. Are there anyways that a fourteen-year-old can earn money? I can t do something like a newspaper route because it ll cause too much worry, and my mother doesn t want me to get an actual job like at a fast food restaurant until I m 15. Can anyone help me? This is very urgent. She works too hard to keep us afloat already and it s not doing her any good. Thank you ahead of time, and please, if you re going to answer, don t leave bogus ones like how should I know and so forth. Please, we re in need of help and I don t want to lose my only parent left.|::::|Perhaps you can organize a fund-raiser type of thing based on your fathers recent passing. People who were your dad s friends and co-workers would be sympathetic and possibly donate some money to you. Make a real cheap dinner like spaghetti and charge something like $5 a plate. Then have activities for them like dancing and stuff. Maybe you can babysit or be a dog-walker. You can shovel snow or clean up peoples leaves and yards or gutters. Ask your friends, family and neighbors about any of these things they might need or if they might know other people that do. Start saving any and all aluminum cans and take them to be recycled somewhere that pays you for doing it. Sell your stuff you don t want anymore through Ebay or Craigslist. Any of these things would bring in some extra money, but don t expect to get rich of any of these ideas because it won t happen.|::::|sorry to hear that for me i am the big brother and i am the only one work in my home.. what i do is trading in Forex Market and i earn extra money but first you have to read some articles and some books it will take about 2 weeks - month then if you understand what is Forex the you can start trading in any place in world may be its not the good job for your mother but tel her to give it a try it really work for me very well http://www.etoro.com/A6338_TClick.aspx|::::|Sorry for you loss! I find it very touching that you care so much about your mom!! Try sending out fliers in your neighborhood for babysitting, pet walking or pet sitting, yard work, yard sales, selling homemade cookies etc. Good Luck!|::::|You can make a little money selling things your family doesn t need on eBay or Craigslist, or try to sell other people s things for a commission. I m afraid that s all I can think of.|::::|The originals - Babysitting and dog walking. Hey, it s money!|::::|go to garage sales and peoples trash and sell your stuff on ebay and half.com ... people have become millionares by doin this!|::::|although it would require your mom s permission, many people are very successful at selling on ebay....starting out with just stuff around the house that you don t want/need - people will buy most anything! - after that supply wears thin, then you can shop at thrift stores and garage sales to get more merchandise. some people have actually quit their full-time jobs and make more money doing this - but it takes TIME, MOTIVATION, and COMMITMENT. EDIT: also, you may want to try selling on amazon.com...they don t charge a listing fee, and you only have to pay for the service *after* you ve made a sale.
