If PAS manage to form a federal goverment, and implement HUDUD law would it really create peace? -

Does the cutting of hand of robbers, would stop him/her from stealing again. In this today modern world they can use a prosthetic hand to do it again. Why would GOD prefer punishment rather than repentance. By cutting both his/her hand how would this people earn money, it s by begging. Surely this would lead to stigma. How are they going to learn new skill to survive or earn money without hand, how are they going to feed their children or give a better future to their children. And by stoning an adulterous person how does it cleanse the person sins, why would GOD love the sight of blood. What would happen to their children living without they father or mother love and care.|::::|1001% i support you on this matter. All this laws are the laws of the old testament ..the Muslims do not believe in the New Testament and do not accept that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. That s why they are still living under the laws of Moses. Jesus is the only one that can forgive us our sins and not man or law. For me this HUDUD Law will bring more pain and sorrow than more peace! God Bless!|::::|Believe me lah by the grace of God they can;t implement because in order to do this they must have 2/3 majority to change the constitiotion so PAS did not cintest so many seats how come they can have 2/3 majority to change the law of the country somore its ally Pakatan campur with DAP and PKR will not agree with it so don;t worry be calm . God Bless u . I respect ur religion.|::::|why Malaysia want to follow other country law ? if the Parliament think they r not asking for trouble then pass it...lol|::::|Good argument Serious Shepherd. First of all, why non-Muslims like you are so afraid with Hudud? First, hudud law is only applicable to Muslims while under Islam, even if in a truly Islamic state, non-Muslims are subject to their own religious law. Second, how many have you stolen that you seems to be afraid of losing your hands? Pls be clear, the real purpose of hudud law is to prevent crime, not the punishment itself except for those who “tak faham bahasa”. Furthermore, hudud law gives heavy stress on evidence i.e solid evidence must be produced so that innocents won’t be victimised. How about those who never repent? Just release them just because there is no punishment in Christianity so that they can steal or rape some more, or because they simply believe in Jesus’ so-called sacrifice? Can you tell me what was being sacrificed at the first place? Jesus? He’s said the be with the Father according to the Bible, so the Son is not lost i.e. sacrificed. Regardless, Holy Quran stresses that repentance is more important than punishment and even criminals like thiefs may escape punishment if they show sincere repentance and received forgiveness from the victims. God is Most Merciful and He does not require any weird law like requiring sacrifice to atone for our sins. Just sincere repentance is enough for Him. God never ask Adam to sacrifice anything for his sins and I don’t think God will let the first human, the father of humanity, to die sinfully. In the Quran, Adam repented (something that is not said in Genesis) and HE IS FORGIVEN. Humans are made to be able to sin from the beginning and has nothing to do with Adam’s act of eating forbidden fruit. So, do you think it is fair for God creating a rule that humanly impossible to meet to forgive our sins when He created us in such a way at the first place? I can’t see how it make anything righteous. I respect Christian believe about atonement of sins, and many of my Xtians frenz respect me as well. But for some ppl like you Jedi, I believe I read the Bible more than you. Edit: Brother Jedi, I may not be able to give long respond to you b4 you close this Q. I understand how you view it. Of course I don t go to regular Sunday classes to fully comprehend the Bible and I never claim that I m an expert in Quran. But I m not totally blind of Christian principles as in many occassions I have long discussion with my Christian frens about our believes. In fact, most of my good frens in Sabah are Christians, not Muslims. So, I do know what Jesus death is all about but the more I know, the more I disagree. And no, I don t look at it from a Muslim s point of view, just be a human. I can give long argument why but not here, not right know. God willing, I ll have another chance. So my question is, are you able to comprehend the Bible yourselfs? Based on my observation on your act in YAM, you give lots of bad examples with many quot;unChristianquot; acts here in YAM. Luckily my experience with my frens won t make your acts change my good perception on Christianity although I still disagree. Secondly, do you fully comprehend Islam and the Quran yourself that you are qualified to condemn Islam in MLP-like style? Or you just use anti-Islam sources? Just like I shouldn t view Christianity from Muslim point of view, should you view Islam from Christian point of view? Lastly, Hari Raya Korban has nothing to do with atonement of sin. Never meant to be. It is to remember Abraham s sacrifice of his son, which even according to the Bible to test Abraham of his obedient to God and has nothing to do with sin. The Korban is just a good deed to help the poor, not necessarily your sin will be forgiven. The same with fasting and going to Mekah. Those who do them won t necessarily be forgiven if they don t repent, but God has guaranteed that all who repent, even those who don t do sacrifice and go to Mekah, will be forgiven for their sins.|::::|GOD prefer punishment since GOD sides with the VICTIM of crime, not the PERPETRATOR. Example of a victim of crime is 71-year-old Sim Ah Guat who lost not only her handbag but her life to a snatch thief. As for stoning, are you referring to the following: quot; And the man that committeth adultery with another man s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to deathquot; - Leviticus 20:10 (KJV) Added: Thank you Jedi Sapien. Now I can understand the behavior of the Serb soldiers. You can do anything as long as you repent, right?
