How can they give inaccurate weather forecast in Seattle, WA? -
I didnt go to work today because the news said it is snowing hard. it didnt snow till 4PM here and i could ve gone to work and earned my money. this is annoying, how can they possibly get the weather forecast wrong? can i sue the meteorologists? if this was a weather prediction for the next couple days i understand they cant be 100% right but to give a forecast for the next 2 hours, how can they get it wrong?|::::|The Pacific Northwest is the most difficult place in the entire United States to predict the weather, since most of the storm systems come off the ocean, there is very little observation posts out there, other than ships. Radar can only go out so far. So when a storm is approaching, someone must be there to know where it s going and the ocean isn t the place to do it.|::::|All they have to go on is technology, which can fail. They can t be right 100% of the time. Give them a break and don t blame them if YOU couldn t look outside to see whether it was snowing or not. I ve had plenty of forecasts that said it was supposed to rain all day and we didn t see a single drop. S**t happens. Deal.
