Please Help. Im a recluse, how can I earn living costs from home? -

I m 16 now and I need to be earning a bit of money to help parents out with living costs and since I can t work and I don t think there s any benefits/grants (lol) I can get for being in the condition I m in. I m got problems: depression, reclusiveness (unable to go outside most days - [See: Hikikomori]) etc What I d like help with is RELEVANT suggestions for a job from home that doesn t require me to leave the house more than once a week. I ve search job sites and stuff and found nothing in the UK that fulfills my VERY restricted situation. So whether you ve heard about something that works or you ve had experience in the field of earning money from home etc, I d like to hear it, as I m pretty desperate. Or even if you d appreciate having a look around the web with me, it d mean a lot. I ve been looking for days and I know these sort of things exist. They re just very hard to find (legitimate jobs, anyway). (Please don t suggest for me to get out into the world and get a proper job etc etc. That s completely impossible, and YES, I have tried psychiatrists and government agencies, and I ve had this lifestyle for nearly 2 years) Thanks in advance.|::::|If your case is genuine and you have the support of your doctor and other medical persons, then I would think that you could be able to receive disability living allowance. |::::|Suggest you look into claiming Disability Living Allowance at the middle rate plus the mobility component, this would give you about £90 extra pounds a week and you could get incapacity and a carer s component giving you a good income. Jobs where you get to stay in are hard to find...if there was money to be made from the internet we wouldn t all be on this site all of the time.|::::|2 years at 16 is nothing. My brother was reclusive since he was 15, he is now 19. He has recently snapped out of it, probably something to do with maturity. If you want to work from home, you are likely to require an IT qualification, which will require going to college, 5 days a week, for at least 2 years. Any other job working from home will not pay you enough.|::::|you could sell on ebay find something that sells and that gives yourself a bit of profit or find a wholesalers and they deliver the stuff to your door and you will have to make a trip to your local post office once a week to post the stuff good luck |::::|Ebay.?|::::|Sorry pet there is not much bar the survey sites and stuff but even then they block your computer up with junkmail and if your lucky you might earn two pound a day and stuff, not really worth it. I do ipoints, so when i shop online i can get points and trade this in for treats, eg cds etc I think your best bet would be to call your local job centre and see if they know of any data entry jobs coming up, they are very rare and likely to be snapped up by stay at home mums but you can try. If you can leave the house then id suggest maybe once a week doing a job dropping off and collecting catalogues, cause this would be once a week job, maybe like kleeneze or something. I would keep at the phychiatrists and things cause the world might be scary but its a wonderful place, and you only get one shot. While you are trying to get over this why dont you study? Contact learn direct or ILA, and they can help. Good luck buddy, dont stay inside forever.|::::|Just brainstorming here... -You could do sewing if you learn how to do it properly. Do alterations to clothes for people, or sew stuff from patterns to order, and maybe offer your services over the internet. Maybe if you find a particular type of item that you enjoy working on, you could specialize in that. Or alternately, if there is any other craft you re good at, you could do that. I used to know a guy who makes part of his money making chainmail to order. The internet makes it possible to sell all kinds of things. -Write romance novels or other pulp fiction. -If you could figure out how to get the proper certification, maybe you could work as a personal accountant or something. The guy who sorted out our complicated taxes last year pretty much worked from home and dealt with us by phone. He came by with the final version of the tax forms to go over it with us and explain the forms before we signed them, but I can imagine how he could ve gotten around that by having us come over or using a courier to deliver stuff and calling us after we had the completed tax forms to talk about them. There are also jobs where you go to the same place to work every day and don t really have to deal with very many people. Maybe you could work up to something like that. Eg. I used to work as an overnight security guard in the same building for a couple years. My job was to show up and lock the doors and make sure they stayed locked until morning, that the heating system boilers didn t blow up, and that nothing was on fire. I was left alone for most of my shift.
