So I really want a ferret.? -

...but my mom will only let me get one once I save up all the money, so that s like...$250. I just spent all my money on Christmas presents, so I was wondering on what I should do to earn money. I m 14, so I can t get a job. My mom wouldn t pay me much for doing chores, and she always says she ll give me allowance but never gets around to it . Sometimes it seems like I m more responsible then her, haha. Anyway, I spent way over $250 for my one ferret. It was closer to $1,000 after vet checkups, her cage ( two because of trial and error), food, grooming supplies, treats, bedding, litter and litter boxes, and the ferret herself. Just like the above poster, mow lawns, shovel snow, rake leaves, etc. You can also pet-sit for people when they re away from home (tell them that you re willing to pet-sit ferrets). It will add up slowly, and one day when you see how much you have you ll be amazed. Oh, and your mom s right when she calls ferrets weasels- they actually are weasels and that s my ferret s nickname! :)|::::|you re going to need a lot more than $250. I paid about $300 just with ferret, food, bedding, shampoo, litter box, toys and etc. That s without the vet cost and necessary vaccinations. Why don t you mow some lawns, walk dogs, or do some chores for neighbors. I d wait till your old enough to get a job.
