I want to experience investin in stock/MF but i dont earn,still i have like 5-6k Rs.hw to start investin? -

hey ppl, i havent started earnin but i hv like 5-6k from my dad n some other sources,i jus wanna start up wid this money instead of jus keepin them like this...what r the pre-requisites 1 need in order to start investing???|::::|unless you have investing experience, just jumping into the stock market, especially at a time like this, could be catastrophic. i would highly recommend against just throwing your 6 grand into stocks. you should try a site like http://www.updown.com first, which lets you practice investing $1 million. investing your money wisely takes a lot of research and is not something you should rush into. as for actual requirements, you ned to be 18 to open an account with any broker, and you need a valid SSN. other than that you can pretty much start right up. remember that there are a lot of fees involved with a brokerage account and you should shop around.|::::|There are virtual stock trading games through which you can practice trading and get a feel of the risks involved in the stock markets. Dont just jump into it.. Also inquire brokerage charges from different investment companies and arrange for documents like PAN card, Identity Proof, Address proof, etc..
