Why are we programed to do the same thing everyday? -

What I mean to say is why do we have to wake up go to work ( to earn money to survive) and go home then go to sleep. It s a cycle but why must we do this. I know we have to survive. But not even Native Americans had to do this. Yes they had to hunt to survive but so do we.( we don t hunt tho obviously )|::::|Lots of people seem to respond well to a routine. I personally do not. The stress of everyday life is really breaking down a lot of people. The pace of our lives has gotten totally out of hand. People need down time and they need to be able to enjoy their lives. Some people use quot;staying busyquot; so that they won t have to think so much about their own lives or anything else. It s not productive - even though people are working hard. We need to take time to enjoy things in nature, read books, listen to music, visit people. There is much more to life than just work. I am not sure what country you are from, but in the US, our work hours have grown until they are longer than just about any other country. And the invention of email has made it such that even on vacations or days off, people are expected to check in. It used to be, once you got home for the day, you were done. Do you have any hobbies you enjoy? That can help get you through the day a little. Something to look forward to when you get home. I liked going back to college (finally finished my bachelor s degree). The contact I got from the other people and having my mind stimulated was a great thing for me. Just getting up and going to work everyday, especially if you are unhappy in your job, makes for a boring life and makes you wonder quot;is this all there is?quot; I understand how you feel.|::::|Because if you want to play you have to pay. Work is just today s form of hunting or farming that you use in your analogy. If you feel you life is mundane and you are tired of doing the same things day in and day out, you ve got a couple of options. Find a new interest or hobby, get yourself set up to be self sufficient like growing your own food, raising animals and producing your own goods. If you choose the latter, I think you ll see just how much work the Native Americans actually had to do to survive. Just remember, it s only work if you don t enjoy it.|::::|Basically, having a routine as a life style is healthier than having a random lifestyle So that routine you are talking about, helps people to achieve goals, consequently live! You can compare the life of someone who is living randomly, and someone who lives by routine, see which one of these two achieve more and has more accomplishments. That is why we need to live in a systematic way, since almost everything is life is systematically functioning . PS. we also need to break our routine one is a while, that is why we have holidays|::::|Circle of Life. We are innately quot;programmedquot; to live life with activity and purposefulness. The Native Americans worked everyday. Hunting is working, and hard work, I might add. I’m sure you’re already aware that life always unfolds better when we can get out of the way! Accepting is like taking a deep breath and relaxing (try it) the more we accept the more we deepen in our feelings of humanness.|::::|It is the repitition of life. The body instinctively knows that if it ceases to do these activities, then it shall eventually cease to exist. Usually, the body adapts to a common habit (smoking, drinking, etc) and will come to take it as a natural occurence and thats how we get so many unhealthy people. This spreads and soon many other people instinctively repeat that action. Your actions are cause by your brain, which accesses your memories. It takes the most useful and common occurences that it thinks quot;benefitsquot; you and then processes it. Of course it still adapts to new problems (at work, school, etc), but it gets the general needs.|::::|Because not alot of people actually think that they could die this afternoon, the morning, next week, tomorrow. People don t realise this and therefore think they have much time to do things they have to do than go out and fully enjoy life first. Meh, thats how I view it. Alot of people get in habit and find it hard to change it because they feel - whats the point? I have so much life to live, yet they dont know it.|::::|by making simple things everyday we make our selves satisfied and happy and you forgot something if you are ready to have family then its a reason you should work for. but if your a millionaire your problems will be how to spend your money and how to save you life against kidnappers etc. life its just a cycle maybe some people consider it short but short life can make it best by some simple things like working enjoying your fiance hot body, playing and many more(millions to mention)|::::|It is a program designed by people many years ago. Some people stick to this pattern throughout their life while others choose to break free and enjoy life. My father was in the military for 36 years. He retired and was offer a position designing blueprints for a large corporation. He did this for 6 years and passed away. He never enjoyed a fulfilling life. I chose to break free of this cycle by creating my own company. I work hard, play hard and leave the rest to the people that work for me. It is what you make it :)|::::|mostly everything runs with computer and rules, so we become like one. you work, you get 1-3 vacations a year, personal holidays, or weekend. this is the way they made us so we can compete with the world around us. if we slow down, others will speed up.|::::|We are being self - programed I suppose ! Each day we check upon ourselves in order to function as we should; remember, we re being called Homo Sapience !|::::|Because society and mankind got bored so they designed a system to keep everyone busy and to keep us out of trouble|::::|it almost makes us feel like little robots..sometimes i look at life and ask the same thing.....|::::|its all part of the plan.|::::|What are you asking?
