How to get my parents to buy me a phone? -

i want a phone specifically for texting but my parents don t want to buy me one partly because of monthly costs and also because they really don t see the point of texting. I m running out of arguments any suggestions? i can t get a job because no one will hire me because i m only 15 i have looked for one though. i m not asking for an unreasonable phone like the iphone. i m just asking for something like the lg rumor. they have the money it s just that they don t see the point to spending money on a phone i m totaly for paying for my own stuff but i can t get the money to pay for it because no one will hire me. this isn t about me being greedy or expecting them to just give i m not a spoiled brat almost everything i have i wor for and buy. i acctually built my captains bed and get Hand-me-down crap. i just can t afford a phone because i physically can not earn the money. NO ONE WILL HIRE ME.I DON T EXPECT MY PARENTS TO HAND ME A PHONE AND I M NOT UPSET.|::::|The most important thing is to build a real honesty and trust with them, show them as much as you can that you are very responsbile. You need not yell or argue, always speak rationally and calmly. Point out to them that a phone is SO important for safety reasons as well, you know like drop little comments here and there on your way out or something, like if they ever ask you when you re going to come home, you could say quot;well you know, if i had a phone you d be able to call me and check up on mequot; or something, things to make them think of the real practicality and importance of a phone, you do really NEED one so they know where you are at all times and you re contactable. A little bit of reverse psychology and subtle hinting goes a long way :)|::::|Travis,it is better you wait for the right time when your parents offer you a phone.You are 15 and I don t think you need a phone and still if you want you can save money from your pocket money and when you think you have saved enough,tell your parents to get a phone for you but please do not go against your parents. your parents have seen life more than you and they know what to do and when to do.
