Im 13 amp;amp; want to start walking local dogs for the unable.? -

Im 13 years of age. I live in the UK South East amp;amp; I reacently had to rehome my puppy due to my dad being alergic, but i really what to start walking other people s dogs amp; maybe earn alittle money (but really i only want to do it for enjoyment) i dont get out much, so how should i get into it? no one i no has a dog, maybe an add in the friday ad or paper or something??|::::|I wouldn t hire a 13 yr old. Things you need to think about. What would you do if the dog accidentally got loose, hit by a car and died? You are totally responsible for the dog while it is in your care. You could end up in court with the dog s owner. Do you have references from people about your work habits? Are you on time? How many dogs are you going to walk at the same time? Will my dog get your undivided attention if something happens? Or are you going to be too busy with other dogs? Can you walk my dog before school and before I go to work? If my dog is attacked by another dog, do you know what to do? Can you take it to a vet asap? Think about these things before you put up flyers and talk to people. One more thing, what do your parents think about it? If your dad is allergic to dogs, what about the dog hair and dander you will be bringing home with you? Will it cause problem with your dad?|::::|What a great solution! You could check at your local Council for the Elderly, and also at the groomer s and the vet s office. Have a couple of written recemmendations form a couple of adults who know you weel as to your sense of responsibility. I think you ll find you have plkenty to do in a very short time. Only commit to a couple of people to start with - it takes more time than you think, and you want to do a good job for the ones you ve got, or you could very quick,ly find yourself overwhelmed, over booked, and not wanting to do any of it.
