How can I stop being so abusive to my headphones amp; MP3 player, and what am i doing wrong? -
first i need to tell you everything, first, i had a little sansa mp3 player, but then i got a new opal one, so i gave the old one to my dad, who gave it to my aunt diane in the hospital so she could have some music to listen too, i had the opal one for a while, then at a benefit for my aunt diane, i got a crappy pink one, when i realized that it sucked, i took my opal one back from my dad that i gave it to because i had the new one, and he took the crappy pink one, when i was sitting down about a year after, i put the opal on the arm of a chair, sat down in that chair, it fell off, and whaen my dog was walking, he stepped on it and broke the screen, so i took the crappy pink one back from my dad, because he got a new one, and i used that for a while, and the buttn got stuck because i used it for so long that it broke because it was crappy, so we had to take it apart, and un stick it, but it got stuck again, so we took it apart again, and it got lost because we left it like that so long, so for my birthday, i got a new sansa, and for no reason, out of the blue, you could only hear through one ear, so we tried two different pair headphones, same thing, so i took the old crappy sansa that nobody uses, and started using it, but the battery is really bad, and i m in the process of earning money for a new ipod nano 4th generation, but i need to know how i can keep it from breaking, because eventually i want to prove to my mom that i m responsible enough to own an ipod touch, because she refuses to let me buy one because she s afraid i ll break it and be mad at myself, so can you help? and also, i have a habit of braking headphone because i just twirl the willy nilly, it s a habit, and since everybody else can keep things from breaking, why can t i? and nobody else loses their electronics, because one minute i ll have my phone in my pocket, i lose it, i find it, and there s a big scratch on it, so can you help? can you tell me ways you keep track of your electronics and how you keep them so scratchless and not broken, please?|::::|protective cases even though there annoying trust me i am like you i like to fiddle with it but thats the best way to buy cases they come for everything and if you are saving for n ipod buy a case tell her i wil save the money for my ipod and for the protective case if she sees ur working hard and working enough to buy a case for it then she will see your responsible *trust me the ipod scratches easily but the case will save it|::::|get a case?|::::|well, as far as the headphones, iv noticed taht they dont necessarily have to be the real expensive $50 headphones (lol i cant believe they actually make headphones for $50 but my friend had some @.@) but the 99cent onse usually break for me in about a week. i generally try to stay between 2 and 5 dollars on them. they last @least a few months... and i do twirl mine when im bored. as for mp3 breakage, i really dont know... the only one iv ever had was an ipod nano second gen... those little things r sturdy as hell. i mean, iv dropped it on a concrete floor from about 3 feet up and there wasnt so much as a scratch on it... hell iv dropped it, thrown it, kicked it, and even stepped on it several times and the only thing all that resulted in was a minor disfiguration of the headphone jack, but a bit of forcing the headphones in anyway fixed that problem. the only actual problem iv had was when i accidentally washed it... didnt work for like 2 months... till i had my friend fix it... now its all fine (except for the occasional rebellion during which it takes me literally about 23min just 2 turn the damn thing off, or it decides to freeze and wont unfreeze for 1/2 hour no matter what i do). mind you, if you actually attempt to break or damage it, it will happen. now, for not losing it, i always and i do mean always keep it with me. if im awake and out of my house its in my pocket, if im home its attatched to my ipod clock radio thingy in my room, if i want to add music i take it, sync it up on the computer and put it right back in my room on my clock... if youre gonna keep it in ur pocket, ALWAYS remember to search the pockets in all the clothes you wore each day before you start the wash. only partially submerged for just a few sec is all it took to almost completely destroy my ipod.
