I was thinking of becoming a vetenarian but i dont know how much it is for college? -
if you know then tell me if your guessing then dont or list some other pretty cool jobs that you can earn good money with out expensive college|::::|The cost for college varies with the college. Select your colleges and then inquire./|::::|i don t know how much it is but i want to be a vet to. and if u want to be a vet you have to go to college for 8 years not just 4. if u do 4 years you could be a veterinarian assistant. hope this helps t depends on where you go. But tuition alone for vet school probably averages around $22,000 a year. Bear in mind that you still need to have a Bachelor s Degree in order to go on to Veterinary College, so you have to add the cost of a four year degree to that. Plus room and board, books, fees, and any other expenses. Being accepted into veterinary school will be the biggest challenge--admissions are highly competitive (more so than medical school, because there are so few vet schools compared to med schools). The acceptance rate is around 30% for those who apply. I found this site with some financial info about vet school, loans, and so forth: http://vetstudentaid.org/ As far as the number of years, your undergrad degree will take four years to complete, and vet school is another four years after that. If you already have a Bachelor s Degree, then you obviously don t need another one, but depending on what your major was, you may need to take some college-level science courses before applying to vet school if that wasn t part of your major. Good luck, and study hard!
