What should i do after high school? -

I am a junior in high school and am starting to think about the future. I have decided that i would like to take a year off in between my senior year and freshman year of college. I would like to use this time to get some money for college and/or travel. Does anyone know any ways i could do this. My one idea was working on a cruise ship. I would earn money and get to travel at the same time. I have heard it is alot of work but i am ready for that. Does this sound like a good idea? Does anyone have any other ideas?|::::|The best thing is to carry on with further education because if you end up taking a year out most people don t like to go back. You could always start the course at college to see if you like it, but if you are still unsure you could improve ur GCSE s or there is a course which can help you in your future to find a job. I don t think you should take a year out though, you could always get a part time job. You will find that you wont want to go back. Good Luck with what ever you decide to do in the future.|::::|Consider enlisting in the military. You would have a chance to travel and they would help you save money towards an education at the same time. I joined the Marine Corps in 64 when I was 17, spent 3 1/2 years overseas, visiting 17 different countries and used the GI Bill when I got out that paid for most of my education. I also used the GI loan to buy my first home.
