Are there any summer jobs for young kids? -

i am 13 turning 14 in may and would like to earn some money over the summer so i would like to do something at a camp maybe be a counselor or like kitchen help or anything else. it deosnt really matter where it is if it is an overnight camp but if it is day camp then it would be best if it was in chicago or skokie or evanston or places around there in illinois. please let me know if you know anyhting o if there are any other ways to make some money. thank you|::::|When I was 14 I was a dish washer/busboy/server/occasional short-order cook at an Italian restaurant near my house. First places you should apply are places where the people who work there, especially management, know you or your family. That s how most kids get their first real jobs.|::::|i live in michigan but i believe you are allowed to start working at the age of 14 here. only for 3-4 hours at a time but you have no bills so it s basically just some extra money. i have worked with 14 yr old kids in fast food b4 so you could try fast food places to see if they would hire someone your age. it s usually highschool kids working there so it wouldn t be as lame as you might think, you could prolly make some new friends too, that are couple years older which would automatically make you cooler next year when you went back to school again.|::::|You can check out the local country clubs and see if they need caddies.|::::|new papers routes sell chocolates moe lawns etc.|::::|well, i have the same question. u could babysit. animal sit or take out the trash for someone.|::::|i think the fast food places hire at 14 like mcdonalds and burger king
