Convince parents to get job ? -

okay well i am 16 years old and i want a job BADLY. the only thing is that i live with my step father and his son, which is my half brother. He is only 9 years old, and i have to watch him everyday. Its just us three living in our house and everyday we go to school and then from the time we get home i have to baby sit my brother. My step dad doesnt get off work until 11pm and he makes me do every single chore and doesnt appreciate it. i think its because im not his child. he wont even buy a cell phone for me! yet he just bought my brother a wii for no reason! i want a job so badly so i can earn money to get things for myself. im tired of feeling used and disrespected. what to do??|::::|You re 16 years old! You do NOT have to babysit your younger brother. Nowhere in your contract in life does it state that you are a free babysitting service. You must get out there and find a job so you can start getting some life experience. Who will want to hire you without experience when you re an adult???? It s time for you to start looking out for you. It s obvious that you re not appreciated at home so it s time for you to do something about it. Good luck!! IT s too bad that these situations happen in life but hopefully you ve learned a valuable lesson and will make sure your kids/step kids don t feel this way.
