Which job is right for me? -

I m a 24 year old man who has an associates degree in Liberal Arts. I went to another college, majored in music industry and then dropped out. I am death metal musician (vocalist/guitarist), no band at the moment. I m working on forming a band. I ve been working since the age of 17. I do not have much working experience. I was a data entry clerk from 2001-2002. I hated that job. The worst first job you can think of. Then I was unemployed up until September 2005, I worked as a youth counselor at the Spring Valley Youth Bureau. I left in August 2007 and went on to working at preschool in September 2007. I got down-sized in March 2008. I am done working with children, I can t stand working with children to be honest now. What kind of job should I get now? I reluctantly applied to a daycare place so I can earn money once again. Though I m not sure what I want to do for the rest of my life. I need real help here. I know I want to be a death metal musician, but I know I can t do that alone. I need to do something else to earn a living.|::::|Try owning your own website business. It doesnt take much and once you get started you wont have to do much work.|::::|I think you should consider talking to a career counselor at a local college or job service office. They can help you understand what you like and don t like and what might make a good fit for you. You might find a way to combine your music interest with your experience with children. Lots of autistic kids respond wonderfully to music. Career testing is designed to guide you to the right job for your individual talents, tendencies, and preferences. In order to achieve this result, not all assessments measure the same things. Some assessments measure your personality type, some attempt to identify your interests, and others rely on skill surveys. These factors are then matched with common occupations or employment sectors.
