What kind of jobs make a lot of money? ? -

I am in my first year of college and feel like I am being pressured into taking classes I am not sure I want to take. I really don t know what I want to do with the rest of my life, but I know I want to be in college and working towards a better future for me and my son. My question is this..aside from being a Dr, attorney, nurse or anything else in the medical field, what can I do that will make a substantial amount of money? I really want to do somehting that helps people. I thought about going into teaching, but that does not pay well. The pay for a social worker is a joke. I want to be making around 200,000+ a year. I intend on spending a lot of time in school to work towards this. I def. plan to earn my MBA and possibly my PH D. I just do not know for sure what I want to do and what will provide me with the income I want and the time with my family I need. I am also trying to look into a career that will allow me to work from home sometimes. My family is the most important thing in the world to me and I dont want to miss my kids growing up because I am in an office all the time or always working late. Does anyone know what I can major in that is basically an open door to anything I may want to do? The only things I am not open to are medical field jobs and finance jobs.
