Can you serve in the military in order to earn enough money to go to the university of alabama? -

and then walk on to the football team? I m 15, live in Pennsylvania and any division 1 football college would be nice (alabama #1 though) if that helps at all. |::::|I d take a look and see if Alabama has a ROTC program, if it does that would be the only way possible. |::::|You already asked this question a few hours ago. The answer hasn t changed. The only way you are goin to get money for school and serve in the military is to enlist, which probably means no football. You have to complete your service before they give you college money. You could try the reserves but I dont know what they give you as far as college money and there still is a huge chance you will be deployed. Either way I think football would be out of the question.|::::|simple answer is yes, of course. but if still in hs and your grades are above avg, go for an rotc scholarship or service school nomination, the latter is thru your states Senators office. most guard or reserve units will kick in money as long as your term of service is long enough. |::::|not going to happen.. for one, in order to GET the GI Bill you have to enlist and serve at least 4 years.. which makes you then too old to play football. and who knows if you are even good enough to play in the first palce?|::::|While in the Navy, you could finish a B.S. degree. I did. Maybe then go to UOA for your Masters Degree.|::::|what happens to that alabama money if you don t come back for it?
