hey again guys only me for more information lol. i have been here a week now and still no hint of a job i hav sent loads of mails with my cv on it and nothing heard back really annoying least they could do is say yes or no. really boring i hate sitting at home and need to earn money so if any of ye know of any call centres that are looking for people asap the help wpuld be appreciated cheers guys xoxox|::::|Hi Louise Sorry to hear you are still looking for work but as you know the economy is a bit rubbish at the moment. Most firms don t bother to acknowledge a CV these day s so if you hear nothing it usually means you have not got the job. You might have to look for other work whilst you keep on at the call centres, have you tried some of the restaurants in town? They are usually looking for weighting on staff, and it will give you some money until you find work in a call centre.|::::|Depends on what kind of job you re after!!?!? (and sorry I don t have any specific Liverpool-advice!) However, I think I m discovering a lot of jobs advertised by agencies don t really exist and as such sending out lots of CVs via email can be a big fat waste of time... I d recommend applying directly to an employer, so you ve got to get hold of a local paper / local listings and hit-up things like Gumtree (or similar) I ve also been told there is help to be found at your local job center (via the computer systems they have their with local jobs listed) ...also given the build-up to Christmas, you re probably more likely to see *retail* positions than anything else... if thats helpful...? ...good luck...|::::|It does take awhile especially at this time of year all you can really do is keep applying for jobs. Have you tried any agencies? My friend worked for staffsign last year and more or less found work straight away (they do factory and call centre work) the office she applied in was in Birkenhead town centre (I m not sure if they res a Liverpool office or not).|::::|i would if you haven t already register with the agencies and see if they can get something for you
